Each and every one of our ingredients is the most important piece of our delicious puzzle. That means from our freshly rolled dough to each one of our savory toppings and cheeses, only the best ingredients are used to create an authentic, thin crust Neapolitan-style pizza that is sure to make your mouth water with anticipation.
Pizza is as abundant as air in this city.. and all too often people are setting for flavorless, generic pizza. Upper Crust is one of the few pizzarias that breaks out of the canned sauce, chewy crust, cheap toppings, and poor cheese ranks which seem to rule the area. Their thin crust is delicious, especially if ordered well-done. Toppings are of the best quality, and their pie selection is very well thought out.
Once you eat pizza of this caliber, you'll never go back to Domino's.. and will be reluctant to even hit the local 'house of pizza' anymore.
Pros: great flavor, fresh ingredients, outstanding pizza!

I know that I've said it before, but everytime that I go in there, I can't believe how good their pizza is! The dough and toppings are fresh and the combinations are delicious. Without a doubt, the best pizza around!
Pros: Huge portions, Fresh Toppings, Funky decor

The space is small but cozy with it modern feel. The pizza is incrediable and you watch them make it. One slice is more then enough and the pizza sizes are on the large side. A wonderful place to get pizza with a nice staff!!!!!

This is, hands down, the best pizza I have ever had (and I've had some za!) I live in New York and have yet to find anything that compares. Is it safe to say that this pizza my, in fact, be healthy? The crust is thin (my girlfriend eats it and she hasn't had bread in years!), the veggies are fresh, and they don't over do the cheese. If you have the chance to sit-in, do so - the employees are a trip and they make the experience! (A friend told me Christy Brinkley was in a week or two ago!)
Pros: Fresh, Light, Huge!
Cons: Addictive

A die-hard Newbury Pizza fan for several years since I moved into Back Bay (I'm still a fan!!), I must concede that Upper Crust is my new favorite! There is a sense of caring about the product, a friendliness (there was a certain day when Id had my purse stolen, and my temporary ATM didnt work like it was supposed to I was short almost a dollar in cash & they spotted me the money which I brought in the next day, of course!) that extends from counter help to the pizza-makers, & YES!! Even to the delivery-folk. I think Im smitten with the thin crust, the great sauce, and the herb-dusted pizzas. YUMM! I was reminded of how much I think of the Upper Crust as a great Neighbor as well as the best pizza in town.
Pros: Great Product, Friendly Service
Cons: Limited Seating

Just opened on Harvard St., where Vici used to be. Amazing pizza. Real thin crust, all kinds of great topping. The plain cheese was mouth watering. Will DEFINITELY go back and recomend to others. Caesar salad was good too.
Pros: Fab pizza, Clean restaurant
Cons: "fast food" feeling

This is true gourmet pizza - I just wish they had a wine list to go with it, because pizza this good deserves a nice bottle of chianti to go with it.

This is by far the best pizza in town! Just go in and try one of their specialties and you will understand right away! Huge pizzas, fresh everything.... Great stuff!!!
Pros: Great crust, huge pies, tons of toppings
Cons: none

The pizza here is great! I've been a fan of these guys since they opened. It took a little while, but they've got a bunch of new pizzas, and if you like BBQ chicken, try it here! Awesome sauce, great chicken. Hands down. Awesome.
Pros: lots of toppings, great crust, delivers

The pizza alone at The Upper Crust makes it great, but it's also a good place to take a date in that it's aethetically pleasing with a post-modern look and feel. And you gotta love how they make the pizza dough in the middle of the restaurant so everyone can watch -- kind of like those sushi placs where you watch the chef!

Cons: parking

Great thin crust and fresh, delicious toppings. Its fast, and one of the best bargains in town! Plus, the funky decor is as good as the food.

This place produces an excellent, unpretentious pizza. Great crust, good tomatoes.

While passing by the resturant and looking through the front window to see pizza's being made, I knew I had to get a taste of the art work.
The extras on my pizza (I like olives, onions and mushrooms) were the freshest I had ever had. The marinara was straight out of Italy and the cheese was melted just the way I like it.
Pros: taste, environment, seeing the pizza made
Cons: none, none, none

Really nice and crispy pizza, good tomato sauce. They also have some 'specials' in which they combine veggies and meat...just right!

The pizza is great -- perfect, thin crust; fresh ingredients; good olive oil but, best of all, the boys who work there are adorable.
Pros: reasonable prices, menu variety
Cons: no beer/wine, limited seating

This is the best pizza in the city, bar none! Yes, even better than Regina's.
