I have had a nightmare of an experience with STI (Sasha Transport) I would just say that you should spend the money and go with a company that has a good reputation. STI will cost you in the long run just as much as the better companies. I am having to hire another carrier to go get my belongings from them because they quoted one thing and then locked in that rate, once they had my belongings the paperwork was missing and they are now charging me double. They have already had my things for over a week and really have no signs of getting them anytime soon. Please just really investigate the moving company that you use, they have federal government websites and I strongly recommend that you use them. STI (Sasha Transport) has had their license revoked during the time of the operation. When you have a license revoked it can't be for a good thing. I also want to say that the employees that they hire are not honest in what they say, I would recommend that you do EVERYTHING through emails because you will need it in the end. The guys that they sent out to my place couldn't even communicate with me, drank things out of my refrigerator and also spilled soda all over my floor. Think about it before choosing STI (Sasha Transport),. I have filed a complaint with the BBB

Warning: actual cost came in double of what was quoted! Movers moved quickly to get the boxes out, but slowed to a crawl wrapping furniture. One mover was on his phone which rang off the hook. Tried to discuss bill with STI but was told that usually their estimates come in spot on and they were surprised mine was double. They did not offer to do anything other than ask for a referal or the opportunity to work together again. Also, looked professional on-line, but trucks showed up blank, without any STI reference on them.

This was the worst moving experience you can imagine. We were moving from Michigan to Tennessee. The movers arrived and appeared to be knowledgeable. They came in and assessed what was being moved. Color and number tagged our items. Everything was placed in front of our home prior to being placed on the truck. After emptying our house, they loaded our goods. From household goods to garage items. While moving our side by side refrigerator, they severely damaged our front door. They attempted to ignore the damage until I showed the lead guy prior to finalizing the paperwork. He had me make a notation on the documents. Not bad so far. When we received our delivery in TN, our goods had been transferred to a different truck. Much smaller. The guys delivering our goods were not affiliated with STI, they were independent contractors. When they opened the truck we were in AWE including the delivery guys. Our boxes were obviously thrown onto the truck and crushed, the lawnmower oil leaked on boxes, The wiring harness was damaged, bicycle seat damaged, bar stool leg broken, and later to our discovery several boxes are missing. When they opened the truck, my husband immediately called the person we scheduled the delivery with and explained the situation. The guy instructed him to call the claims department. The paper work we reviewed states that based on the free insurance we opted for we are covered .60 per pound. This is NOT going to cover the value of our goods. At this time, we are filing a claim because nobody from the company wants to deal with us. Needless to say, we would not recommend this company for ANY move!!!

WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE

This was one of the worst moving experiences I've ever had. The movers were unhelpful and had no clue what they were doing. Everything they moved was ruined due to a water leak in the truck... shoes, tv's, and furniture were delivered soaking wet. Now I cant get anyone to return my phone calls.

I GOT COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF BY STI MOVERS, OVERCHARGED AND S

This company scammed me BIG TIME. They sent me a quote for 1100 on a move going from Illinois down to Texas. When the truck showed up the movers who barely spoke English showed up, and started demanding money before they would load the moving truck for a tip. I told the movers I would give them each $25 after they completed the move. So they agreed to this and started to work. After getting half of my items in the truck, they called some guy named ?David? to confirm how much weight I had placed my order for, and then stopped loading. They said that they would charge me additional because my shipment was going to be over the quote weight. I am not sure what they were saying because at this point the English was completely non-understandable. When the move ended my weight and packing had exceeded the quote per the movers. When I asked to follow the truck to the weight station they wouldn?t allow me, and NEVER showed me the weight certificates of the truck. So I am really not sure if STI Movers was quoting me correctly or not. I would not trust this company and go elsewhere, get a quote for a more reliable mover, not scam artists. STI MOVERS are a huge moving scam, run don?t walk about from this company.

Awesome job. They guys were super nice and super fast. We loaded and unloaded a full one bedroom in 2 hours including traffic and it was all less than $300. Highly Recommend!!!

When I was moving back from Indiana I did not want to do a self move. I have lots of heavy and expensive dj equipment so i went on line and got a lot of quotes. Then talk to a friend who said they had used STI Movers. So I called them and they were great. They handeled all my questions and concerns. They explained that materials to safe guard my items would be additional but worth it. They gave me insurance options and date flexiblity. I had them pick up and deliver with out any problems at all. I would use them every time I moves.

Worst Movers I Ever Hired!

The movers were initially very nice but only the forman spoke any English. The movers seemed rushed as if they had another move packed in after mine and they also had moved someone else before me. They wrapped everything very well but when I looked only one person each was moving the two person chair and the sofa. They were rolling them versus carrying them but I thought they were the experts and I was wrong! Three of the four decorative pieces on the front of the chair and sofa were snapped off. The dresser I had was also severely damaged. One of the movers had banged the end of the dresser so hard against the wall that the top of the end of the dresser was loose and a deep split went through the varnish and stain all the way through to the wood. No amount of scratch cover will fix it. It has to be sanded and restained. The thing is that not one of the movers told me about any of the damage at all. I witnessed the movers trying to stick the wood corner back on my chair without me noticing. I discovered the total damages myself after they left. Don't let them con you into checking a certain box on the paperwork without reading the fine print! I checked this box and I signed away my claim to compensation. What I checked gave them permission to reinburse me $.60 per pound of the item damaged which turned out to be only $60! I am in the millitary and all my furniture was moved overseas and back twice without the damage they caused moving it 10 minutes down the street! Don't waste your money!!! I wished I would have gone with Two Men and Truck like I originally had planned. Brand new furniture is now not very gently used courtesy of STI Movers.

I was recommended to STI by my friend that moved with them to NY, and boy I am so happy I went with them the crew that picked up the items was so great and friendly, and the ones on delivery were even better, so thank you STI for making this move so easy, and I would like to recommend there services :)

I recently moved across state with STI and I have to say that the experience was very positive. i have done a lot moves in the past and I have never received better customer service. Everything was perfect I will never use another mover again!

Thieves on the move!

Horrible. THE MOVERS STOLE MY ENTIRE CASE OF CD'S! I tipped the guys $100, the move only took an hour b/c I lived in a studio apt and the guys stole right in front of my face!!! Also the movers called later that day to tell me my orriginal quote had changed and now would be almost $1000 more due on delivery. The delivery was brought by a totally different moving company that was contracted out by STI movers so they had no responsibility whatsoever. I had broken dishes and other items that I packed so well they could have withheld a tornado. After they get your money no one could give a hoot about you. These guys are a rip off from start to finish.
