Sizzlin' Cabana

I love Sizzlin' Cabana! There beds tan better than any other bed in Ames. I tried Tan World because i knew the name from my home town and did a monthly package. I tan pretty easily and felt I got nothing out of the bed tanning 2 sometimes 3 times a week!! The euro bed at sizzlin' cabana is amazing and would tell anyone to try it out! The staff is wonderful!

I also have had some less than friendly experiences at Sizzlin Cabana. Some employees are great, however the short girl, with short blonde hair is VERY rude. She talks on the phone constantly instead of doing her job - usually works at the campus location. I don't know what her name is because she's not even kind enough to tell you.
Today, however, my experience at the Mortenson location in West Ames was amazing. A wonderful girl checked me in, and you could tell she really gave a damn. We had a great conversation about the Iowa vs. ISU game, SHE WAS SO FREAKING FRIENDLY! I love it! I will always go to the mortenson location from now on! Whoever that girl was she was AMAZING!!

I used to tan at Sizzlin' Cabana, but I quit because several of the girls have been less than friendly when I've gone in there. They act like it is a hassle for them to help customers, even though that is their job if I am not mistaken! Perhaps I have just had particularly bad experiences seeings how they've received two good reviews here, but I will not go back there. Tan World has higher quality beds anyway. I've noticed the wattage on the bulbs at Sizzlin' Cabana's beds and they are not the same quality of bulbs that Tan World uses. Tan World also had GREAT employees by the way. You can tell they truly care about your experience.

Sizzlin Cabana is a great place to tan. I live right by the Mortensen location so that makes it very convienient. The staff is always friendly, polite, and helpful. Very colorful and clean inside. The prices are fair, with lots of specials going on usually. I would recommend this tanning salon to anyone and everyone!

Sizzlin Cabana on Mortensen is by far the best tanning salon I've been to so far. It's always clean and having the radio on the wall right behind your head works good. I love tanning there! Definitely recommend it. I have used the tropical beds and the cyclone as well. They have good student pricing as well.
