Hello! I am the administrator of this clinic in Tulsa. I am writing this, not to review the facility, but to reach out to past and future clients. First, I would like to thank everyone that has taken the time to review us. Even the ones who had negative things to say. I will take your concerns seriously and use the information as an opportunity to improve. To those of you with such nice things to say, Thank You.
We have been in this community for almost 40 years. We work very hard every day to provide abortion services to women. We are a non-profit organization. Does this mean your services are free? No, but, it does mean we keep costs as low as possible and that no one in our organization is getting rich. We're here to provide a service to women, not to make money.
Many of the comments on here talk about long wait-times. I would like to address that. Yes, you are in the clinic for several hours. There is a lot involved in making sure you are well taken care of. There are steps and procedures in place to address your medical and physical well-being, your mental and emotional health, making sure you are well-informed, and keeping you safe. YOU are our top priority. We also have many, many laws and regulations we have to adhere to and unfortunately that can increase your waiting time. We prepare you for this before your appointment. You can bet that our staff is working as hard and as quickly as possible to keep you comfortable and reduce your wait.
I will also address briefly the couple comments on "rude" or "snotty" staff. I personally never want to hear this. I know my staff and know that they are dedicated to our patients. But, that doesn't mean they are perfect. I want to apologize to you because we never, never want our patients to feel that they have been treated badly. And to our future patients, I want to say to you that we will go above and beyond to make you comfortable before, during and after your procedure. We are here for you and will try to accommodate you in any way that we can. Our staff are friendly, energetic, and compassionate. They do truly care about you.
As far as the different procedures go, you will not receive any special or better attention from the staff or physicians by choosing one over the other. They are different procedures and have different steps involved, but one is not preferable over the other. Which procedure you'll have is based on the length of your pregnancy, your health history, and your preference. How you react to your procedure is based on your set of circumstances. Each woman is different and her body will behave similar, but still different from the next. So, one may prefer a medical and the next a surgical. One may experience a complication, but most do not. You will be well-informed of all risks before your procedure. And, we will be here for you every step of the way. You are provided an emergency number to reach a nurse any time day or night with questions or concerns. Your aftercare is included in your fees. Rest assured that Abortion is one of the safest procedures today in the medical arena, even safer than child-birth statistically.
I have taken up enough of your time. I do want you to know that our facility is safe and clean, our physician's and staff are licensed, highly trained and experienced, and we are dedicated to providing outstanding services and medical care to you. For those of you that did not have that experience with us, I am sorry and will use your feedback to do better. To everyone else, thank you for your kind words.
Please call us for information or to schedule an appointment. Our friendly office staff will answer questions and assist you. We have counselors available if you need to talk or sort out your feelings. And, our medical staff will take great care of you. It is our privilege and pleasure to serve you!

After reading the reviews online I was extra nervous about going in for my appointment. Thankfully, the people who had posted either were lying or had isolated bad experiences.
While, the place isn't your friendly life-long doctor's office, they were very courteous and professional. The nurses were very very informative, helpful, and easy to talk to. The office staff were efficient and professional. I only saw the doctor for a brief time because I had medical not surgical. She was professional as well.
Never at anytime did I feel like anyone had been rude or sketchy.
The place isn't fancy and it is hidden back behind other businesses. There are also big anti abortion signs around the street. Those things made me feel uneasy and especially after reading all of these awful reviews. But again, a huge relief to find everyone inside the office to be understanding and helpful.
The Roe Fund and the National Abortion people both helped me pay for the procedure. It was close to 600 dollars and they helped pay for almost half. It's too bad a state like Oklahoma that acts like it wants government out of it's business sets things up to harrass and make women have such few choices. There were only 3 places I could find to go. No one likes abortion and women who have experienced it can tell you it's not easy or fun. Leave us alone. The state should leave women alone and stay out of our business. It shouldn't feel so scary or limited. Yes, adoption is ideal, but not everyone has ideal lives, and again, it's noones business. I was very thankful for Tulsa Rep Services. Thank you all for providing a safe, clean, and professional place for Oklahoma's women. To the Roe Fund as well. You all are brave and doing something that can't be easy. Thank you. For those of you that come here to post that abortion is murder- try and help make birth control more accessible, help to get sex ed in to schools, and I promise you all know at least one girl who's done this, someone you love has had to go through this alone because this state is so full of judging hypocritical Christians. Love each other. Stop judging. Help each other.

I went in for a surgical abortion. Unfortunately this was my second abortion. I would recommend you spend the extra time and drive to Overland Park Kansas unless u want to be rushed through this process by a bunch of rude, twenty year old sadist medical assistants, have absolutely no opportunity to consult with a physician until AFTER you have paid, have waited 5hours and are naked on a table. But during the procedure you can talk to him because you will be FULLY awake and in a large amount of pain. Then you will be taken into recovery where u will watch one of the sadists sit at a desk and do homework and eat snacks. Then if you go home and are in pain you can take an Aleve for pain. Even if u call crying in the night you won't get anything stronger. I know, I deserve this treatment because I'm a terrible person.

Why is it women always have to wine about something. This is an abortion clinic, you say its rushed! Then you complain about the wait, the wait is so long probably because everyone cannot read the paperwork they are handed and don't do their homework before they go in. I mean come on ladies its not a tea party, I personally liked the fact they didn't drag out the process of this procedure. I orignally went in for a surgical abortion. I asked questions about the medical and was curious about that procedure everyone had their.own opinion. But noone that I asked was against what I had originally chosen. All these women on here lie. It's a place of business just like any other. This place is clean, helpful and I was only there for two hours. If you want to be a princess go somewhere else.

I work at Reproductive Services and would like to say that yes, we do try to be fast during the check-ins in the morning. We have a certain time that all the procedures are to billed by, but the procedure itself isn't rucshed and the nurses and doctors are very nice and respectful. As far as giving people their options, we have an adoption agency in our office. We read information to each patient atleast 24 hours before their procedure asking if they want any additional information sent to them by us, if they want to speak with a doctor on the phone or in person BEFORE they have an appointment, and a website they can visit www.awomensrighttoknowok.org If you don't know your options by the time you have called us, it isn't really our job to counsel someone. I will answer anyones questions, and have been told numerous times how helpful I am and most people who speak with me ask for me each time. I don't promote abortion, and every person who calls that seems uncertain I tell them that they need to do whats best for you and that its their body, their decision. If you have reservations about having an abortion, it's nobodys responsibility to help you make that decision other than yourself.

I was slightly disappointed in my experience here. As other reviewers have said the whole experience is very rushed, confusing, and impersonal. My personal experience was bad because I went in expecting to get a surgical abortion, but was too early in the pregnancy and had to do the medical abortion or reschedule. I talked to a counselor and she assured me that the medical was preferable to surgery and I would only experience 2 or 3 days of discomfort. I had severe cramping and bleeding for the first 36 hours but then I was fine so i thought it was all over. wrong! my appointment was on a friday and the following wednesday I started cramping and bleeding again. Every day after that the cramping became worse and the bleeding heavier. I went in for a check up one week after my original appt. and told the nurse about how much pain I was in and she ignored me. She said that I had lots of clots and that was normal. If its normal to have clots and disabling cramps 1 week after the procedure then they should have that written! All the paperwork says up to 72 hours of bleeding and 5-10 hours of cramping. It is a lie. The counselors also lied and said I would be fine to go to class the next week and probably wouldn't need docotor's notes. I was in the worse pain i've ever felt for over a week and medicine did not help. I ended up missing 3 days of classes, did very poorly on the test because I couldn't focus over the pain, and almost got written up at work for not being friendly enough. I finally started passing clots Tuesday morning (11 days after taking the medicine) and I feel better. I hope everything is over but I don't trust the people at the clinic and if I have any more problems I will go to hospital or campus health clinic. Unfortunately, there are very few options in Oklahoma for an abortion. All I can say is I would recommend the surgical method. The results of the medical are too unpredictable for people with busy lives and if you need to keep it private. Its very difficult to deal with that much pain when you can't tell any one what's going on. I've had friends who've done the surgical and said the nurses are much more attentive to the surgical patients and that the worst side effect is the bleeding and spotting that usually happens for the first month after the procedure. Also, you will actually deal with an experienced doctor with the surgical method instead of just snotty nurses.

My involvement with this place was, from beginning to end, an absolute mess. First of all, there WERE protestors when I went there for my appointment, screaming and holding up signs of aborted fetuses. The clinic did have escorts there in the parking lot once patients arrived, but it was still unnerving. Once I was inside, I filled out the EXACT SAME paperwork they had asked me to fill out when I made the appointment. They had told me the wait would be up to 5 hours, which was fine--I had prepared for that. What I had not prepared for was their complete lack of professionalism. I had been advised to go with the medical abortion (a series of pills) but I told TWO of the staff members the morning of my appointment that I'd been having intense morning sickness and I needed something if they wanted me to keep the first pill down. My request was ignored, they gave me the pill and sent me home. I threw it up on the way and had to come back, where I was chastised and told that I should have told the staff I was nauseous and needed a shot. Finally I got all the medicine in my system, and the whole cramping/bleeding they described didn't happen when they said it would, it happened THREE FULL DAYS later, when I was at work. Also, they say you absolutely must pay with debit card or cash, but both times I was there (for my procedure and for follow-up) they had no change for their patients and made me and two other girls drive to a gas station for change. DO NOT GO HERE, make the trip to Norman, it's worth it.

This place is amazing. I dont understand why some of the reviews before complained about waiting. Yes it is a long process, but would you rather wait and have a baby. It takes so long do to the tests needed to make an accurate descion on what is best for you as a patient. The staff is very nice and friendly. My counseling was wonderful and the lady that helped me was so helpful. They are not out to get your money. I live 2 hours away so I liked the fact that they could do everything in one day. They even called later when I was at home to make sure everything was okay. And they have a toll free number to call if there are any problems after your procedure. There is no rushing you through the process and there are not 30 to 50 people there. There are no protestors present like at some places. And for the person complaining about being in the same room with other women and girls to have to take a pill by mouth. Come on really you are all there for the same reason what do u expect a bubble bath and light massage in a private room. Over all this is a great place to go that will help you with what ever decsion you wish to make.

I was specifically told by the staff that I needed to make sure that I had at LEAST 5 hours of free time on the day of my appointment, and it did take five hours. If you don't want to wait around five hours to get your abortion, maybe you should try waiting nine months to have your child. Which waiting period do you prefer? They provide you with TONS of paperwork to read inbetween sessions, so I'm not sure why people are "confused" about the process, and upset that the staff isn't "explaining" anything. Everything that you need to know is in the sheets of paper that you are EXPECTED and TOLD to read. If you do not read them, can you honestly complain? The staff was friendly and willing to answer any question that I had. I was not once treated poorly, and I didn't treat any of the staff poorly, which a lot of the women in there seemed to think was appropriate to do (the craziest people go to the abortion clinic, I swear). Again, what I'm trying to say here: this is not an easy process, but if you follow the steps and if you are sure that this is for you, it won't be that hard. I'm very happy with my decision, and I'm happy with my decision to choose this clinic. They were great.

I went here a couple months ago for a medical abortion. Everyone was friendly and very concerned about privacy and protecting it. There were 'alot' of women having abortions so i didn't really expect tons of personal attention. This is a non profit organization to my understanding so they aren't really making any money off of doing these abortions except to pay for medications and employees. However, I was a little bit annoyed by having to be there at 9am, then after a couple questions and an ultrasound having to leave and come back after lunch to take the pill. It pretty much takes up the entire day just to swallow a pill and get a quick ultrasound and mostly sit around in there. They also require that everyone see a counseller to make sure they are certain they want to go through with it. The attitude from the counseller was not to talk anyone into doing it or out of doing it but rather to make sure the decision was based on reason and logic and not hormones or emotions. Which is why I was there, so I liked their apporaoch in that area.

I was in this facility just a couple of weeks ago and I have to say I disagree with most of these reviews. Yes there was a long wait, but I have waited just as long in my personal doctors office and didn't get as much attention as I did here. The entire staff was very caring and sensitive to my needs, with one exception, the blonde haired nurse. She was very rude, short and just mean, and it wasn't just with me, she was like that with other staff members and girls that were there. I'm really not sure why she's even there. So if you just steer clear of her, your experience will be worth the wait. So ladies all I have to say is if you find yourself in the same situation I found myself in, go here and let these ladies take care of you.

When you come to the decision of having an abortion, it is a big deal obviously! It wasn't the staff at Reproductive Services that was horrible, it was the way they go about doing the whole process. As one of the other reviewers had said, they rush you through; and don't give you your other options or explain anything, they are just there to get that money! I got there at 8:00 am, and you would think they would explain what was going on, not likely. After a crazy process of an ultrasound, blood drawn, and a few others, you get to wait for like another 5 hours before you can see the doctor. I sat there and waited until 2:00 before they gathered like 14 girls into a room together and then explained that we have to take this pill and a bunch of other crap. The doctor was not professional at all. Made me wonder a few things, but anyway, this place needs to re-think how they go about this whole abortion process and the way they treat the girls that come for their service. I felt so disrespected, like I just do this kind of thing everyday!! Not likely, this was such a big decision for my husband and I. I would not recommend going to this place, especially if you have another alternative clinic closer to you.

I had read the review that the woman had a bad experience and personally it made me very nervous to go. I have to say you cant expect to be treated like your in a luxury hotel your going there to kill your child bc of your own selfishness, unless you have a medical reason, if you dont want another child you should be on birth control or use condoms.
The staff at reproductive services is very caring and I thought they did a really good job now yes there is a lot of waiting but would you honestly want them to rush you through everything, I know I wouldn't and yes everybody shows up at the same time which there is not 30 to 50 ppl there building would not fit that many. Plus if you dont want to be there all day show up early i got there an hour early and got out of there in two and a half hours.
Now when i was there i honestly dont think that some of the girls thought through what they were actually doing its not a decision you should make overnight it should be thought through carefully and nobody can make it for you considering you are the one that has to live with yourself. Now there was girls there that cried and acted like it was everybody elses fault but there own. FYI if your crying that means you probably dont need to go through with it.
Ok so the things that i didnt like about reproductive services is the fact that they did not talk to about any other options which i guess they thought that you already have.... having the ultasound was a different experience they have the probe and its like they just violate you and run it lasts like two seconds. but other than that the staff was great i loved the dr she was very nice the nurses were great i liked all of them except i didnt know what to think about the one that calls everyone ladybug she rushes a lil to much for me. But all in all i would recommend this place to anyone.
Oh and will answer the question that i had before i went there is no picket lines most other places do have these.

If you are planning to get an abortion or anything to do with this clinic, PLEASE dont go here. They give horrible service and dont really care about you. They just want money and to get as many people in as they can. I personally had my first experience there and will never ever go there again. I drove 2 hours to get there only to have the same time appointment as 30-50 other girls getting abortions also. I was the 10th person there and one of the last 5 girls to be done! It was ridiculous! How do they expect to cram 30-50 girls at a time! Every time they would discuss something with you or tell u to do something they said it real fast like robots talking. After talking to 3 of the staff members, I finally had to threaten for a refund if I didnt get seen for my last session b/c they make u do this then wait then this then wait then that and wait some more. I was finally done after 3.5 hours of being there! OUTRAGEOUS!

DO NOT GO HERE, make the trip to Norman, it's worth it.\r\n\r\n

This place has horrible service. They dont care about you. they just want your money. I had my abortion there and was there for 3.5 hours with 30-50 other girls! They crammed 30-50 girls at one time! I was the 10th person to get there and one of the last 5 to leave. When they went over procedure and information with you, they just talked really fast like a robot. I had to drive 2 hours to get there too. After speaking to 3 of the staff members, i finally had to threaten for my refund if i didnt get done with the final step of my process. This was ridiculous. If you need an abortion, go somewhere else. They make you do this then they send you to wait, then they call u for another test of some kind then they make u wait to be called again then they call u again for something else and then make you wait and again and again.
