Wilmer Eye Institute At Johns Hopkins

My son was supposed to go to Wilmer for an eye appointment due to his Albinism. However, he was scheduled 3 times, and EACH time, they postponed on us--up to 2 months each time. I finally took him elsewhere. I understand things come up but this was unnacceptable for such a well-known facility.

I had gotten a severe eye infection that caused me alot of distress and pain. The medication my regular doctor prescribed gave me no relief.So instead of going to a regular emergency I took advantage of the emergency services offered at Wilmer.The intake process was quick and then I was able to go upstairs. The office was comfortable and not to bright which can irritate a person having eye problems.the doctor was very professional and did a very through exam which involved some pieces of small machinery I had never seen before, come to find out I was misdiagnosed and should not have been using any drops in my eyes at all.Following the doctors advice and then doing a follow-up visit let to much needed relief for me.I appreciated the speedy service and expertise of doctors. Would highly recommend to anyone in Baltimore area.
