Great Adventure

Great Adventure is one of the best amusement parks in the country. Every time we go I remember Rolling Thunder and Lightning Loops. Now, as an adult, the lines aren't usually that long (except for the water rides on hot days.
A great value for a day of fun with the family.

This is one of the best parks in the country. They have awesome rides, the lines aren't too long, and the park is in excellent condition. They have the top ride in the world, Kingda Ka, so try to go on a dreary weekday in September when everyone is back in school. The only problem is that it's expensive, with admission around 50.00 per adult and roughly 10.00 to park. The food is expensive as well, but it is definitely a great park.

This is a large theme park in central NJ. There is a theme park, animal zoo, and water park.

The animal zoo is exciting because they have a lot of large wild animals that you can drive by with your car. When passing the giraffes, they will often stand in front of your car or look in the windows at you.

I have never been in the water park (Hurricane Harbor) but the theme park has tons of rides like Kingda Ka. This coaster is supposed to be the tallest and fastest in the world. There are also shows, food, and a few water rides.

I called to find out if my son who is 1.5 could go on any rides and they said there were quite a few in the children's section that he could ride. Children under 2 years old are free.

Although this park has a lot, it gets very crowded and is very expensive for adults (~$50).
