alyson s. i honestly dont know what your talking about or even if your experience is true! the experiences that your claiming to read about... how awfull they are doesnt match up with my story at all. i enjoyed every second at enzo's the manager has a great sence on humor and i feel that if she were to say "get a pedicure" it was to lighten the mood and relieve some stress..dont be jealous if you need to loose a few lbs dont make everyone elses life h**l in the process! go home get a drink and relax! enzo bridal worked with me for hours on end im very hard to work with and by the time i finaly picked my gown i feel that anywere else the people would have kicked me out! my gown looks f****N amazing and i hope that brides can look past the rude people and go to enzo and have the time of their life!

First of all I'm not one to complain and am very understanding, HOWEVER there is only so much i can take before I go to the extreme to write a review. Let me share my experience with Enzo bridals for all you shopping BRides to be ... It's amazing reading all these reviews and they all have practically the same experience as me. I also find it mysterious the "good" reviews... is there really any? it just so happens after the Managment review there is 4 good reviews. But anyway...
To start off the dresses were a month late coming in- so needless to say they came in 2 weeks before the wedding... which isn't a problem if they came in the right sizes! but when all 6 bridesmaids come in 2 sizes-yes 2 sizes too small- many problems and patience were needed. But I had more patience and put THEIR error in their hands to get the dresses fixed on time. The manager reassured me I wouldn't be charged for any alterations b'c of this error. That's the only thing they did reassure me on- i wanted to be reassured the dress will look great or new one will be ordered. Second visit the dress was taken out but not enough- you saw my belly button- thighs and needless to say too short. They attempted to take out a little more this time and told me to come back it'll be ready for pick up. Third visit week of wedding suppose to be a quick try on and take home visit -didn't even look like they touched the dress A-b'c it fit the same way and B-b'c the pins were still in the cups. So the manager tells me it's "okand to get a really good pedicure"-b'c it's still short. ok? really? She then tells me to come back 3 days before wedding to pick it up. Another 40 minute drive NOT HAPPENING! Instead i came back in an hour in hopes it would be done. Still remaining cool and whatever just want to get the dress out of there b'c i had enough stress and i wasn't even the bride! it zipped that's all i can say. They said they will wrap it pull the car around-went back in then the manager dropped the bomb saying that ENZO wanted me to pay for alterations....YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! I was there for another 35 min arguing that i shouldn't have to pay for problems they caused! The dress didn't fit me going in nor taking it home! Needless to say ENZO the coward that he is wouldn't come out to tell me to pay for the alterations! He knows better! Way to handle your customers ENZO and you wonder why you have 25 bad reviews out of 27 and the 2 you probably posted for a good review! i highly doubt 1% of your brides have problems looking at these reviews and having an ENZO bridal experience myself. Don't forget this was not just 1 bridesmaid but 6!!!! And that 1% shouldn't be- you should make your paying customer happy in the end! He should of paid for my gas to get there 4 times- my lunch that i had to have b'c the dress still wasnt ready- and needless to say my freakin PEDICURE b'c the dress was too short!!! And he has the b**ls to tell me to pay alterations AFTER 2 weeks ago your manager reassured me we wouldn't be paying b'c it's their nightmare? here's a thought Enzo- have your staff trained to fit people- you can't put a size 10 girl in a size 6 dress- that's just common sense no training needed. And when you have situations like this - which pretty much is all your brides you should man up to the situation and take the fault and make that customer happy so we don't have to write these reviews. Not once did anyone say SORRY or IT's OUR fault- it was always blamed on someone else. And needless to say you never answer your calls- probably b'c they are all irrate customers nor when you get there you are ignored!!! there is a lot more needed besides how to measure someone. I've never experienced such a place nor never will again!

I went to Enzo Bridals to purchase my wedding gown over2 years ago, and recently returned with my friend of 20 years who is getting married. I recommended this shop to her because of the great experience I had for my own wedding. The sales women are kind and patient, and have a knack for picking out the right dresses based on what you think you'd like. Alterations went very well for me, and the dress fit practicaly perfectly when i came in. My friend just had a fantastic experience nothing short of our expectaitons and was thrilled that she purchased a gown from them. The sales lady who helped her made us feel relaxed, and we had a great time as you should with such a exciting one in a life time event such as this!

I just got home from buying my dress at Enzo Bridals. The sales woman was just awesome. She had patience but also knowledge, excellent advice and she just knew everything pertaining to bridal. I recommend Enzo bridals for the investment you are about to make for your special day. No one was pushy or sales driven nor did anyone rush me i was there for hours. It was a pleasure to be there and I wouldn't have gone anywhere else. I haven't gotten to the alternations yet but i cant wait! I'm in good hands with experts in their field!!!

enzo bridal had some of the best priced gowns and for the first time every i experienced a honest bridal shop they showed me only gowns in my price range told me what didnt look good on me and did so in a respectable mannor unlike other shops that ive come accross! thank you for being honest and caring on the day that matters most! They had some of the largest selection in my price range( 400-800) i was so pleased and theyre orderable! not to mention they look like i paid thousands!!!!

my experience was priceless i loved everything they had to offer somuch that i purchased all my wedding needs on the spot! im finialy finished after searching for my gown and all the final services the day that i had only planned to finish up with my gown i left relieved im so happy with the quality of work and the price everyone should try to make it to enzo at some point in their travels i wish they had more locations!

It seems that Enzo Bridal tries to hard to defend themselves repeatedly. If you did the right job for the customers why are you rated F with the Better Business Bureau. I followed up on a complaint regarding your unprofessionalism and disregard for your customers with the BBB and discovered there are numerous complaints with teh store as a whole and with the owner Steve Mondello. You can run but you cant hide. Honesty is the best policy. Aren't you tired of your nose growing??

MY FIANCE WANTED TO KILL ME i must have gone in thousands of times i tried on ALL their gowns AND THEY WERE SO KIND TO ME ESPECIALY WHEN I MADE MY DECISION THEY ROLLED OUT THE WORKS FOR ME! my friend just purchased her gown with enzo bridal and let me be the first to say im glad we went there. after hearing all the negative comments i wasnt so sure i wanted my best friend that ive known for 20 years to waste her time and money with the people at enzo bridal. despite my hesatation we entered enzo bridal on november 20th of this year. i was surprised all the negative comments made about the staff, owner and quality of selection turned out to be nothing more then hear say. needless to say we had an amazing experience with enzo bridal and i cant wait till i get married i know were im getting my gown they were fantastic!

What do you think about Enzo Bridal? Well Steve Mondell aka Steve Enzo is a liar and a thief. He steals the dreams of a bride searching for the perfect dress. He doesn't want to face the clients and hides in the building or sneaks out the side door like a thief driving away like a coward. Not the kind of respectable guy to do business with. We are still waiting to hear from him . My finance even had to try to call him to find out where my dress is?? Thanks Marie

My gown is about to be shipped i dont know why i was so stressed out this whole time. I even went as far as to have them call the maker of my gown so i could speak with them....Im so sorry enzo. I realized that everything was going great. My gown is going to be early by 3months and by people posting reviews i got soo worked up all for nothing. People stop trashing stores one bad experience isnt eneough to ruin the experiences of us all!!! I cant wait to start planning my cruise and again thank you enzo bridal and staff for putting up with me

I was at a bridal show in toms river when i first saw some of what enzo bridal had to offer and i was very pleased. enzo bridal was the only sallon that i came across that stood out to me. They are a close knit botique that i was so glad to stumble into i purchased my gown on my first try on visit and believe me when i say that it is fantastic. the staff there made my decision so effortless(i am the worst at making decisions) THANK YOU ENZO

I ordered my gown through enzo bridal back when beth was still the manager and if it wasnt for the sales people being so kind and helpful i would have walked out of the store and never turned back.To make a long story short i ended up purchasing my gown and to my delight beth had been replaced. The new manager Hagar remained in touch with me assuring me that the gowns would arrive with plenty of time to finish my alterations. They have a fantastic seamstress her name is Leanna she has fingers of gold! Thank you for everything!

I just purchased my gowm, a pronovias gown from enzo bridal over the weekend and i couldnt have been more pleased with my experience. For purchasing my gown on my first time in the store it seemed as if they rolled out the red carpet for me and my girls...i recieved a free cruise with my gown compliments of enzo bridal, my mother and all my girls are going to recieve two free round trip airline tickets as well because my bridal party was so large. I just couldnt believe how much we lucked out i have a lot of friends getting married that cant wait to start thier experience through enzo's and get the gifts that come with being an enzo bride. THANKYOU ENZO FOR MAKEING THIS SOO EASY!!!

I was searching for the dress of my dreams as most people do...the day after my fiance proposed to me. I went to almost every bridal shop within the tristate area and when i walked into enzo's i was a little unsure of what to expect after reading all of the reviews posted on these websites. My best advice that i could give to any of the brides to be..give them a chance they were some of the most kind people that i have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They have the largest selection of gowns that i had seen anywere but i had my heart set on a Maggie gown and they said that they had her line on order and went out of their way to order the dress for me. I recieved my gown 4 months before my wedding date and couldnt be happier. THANK YOU ENZO!!!! I love my gown and the fit was fantastic i couldnt have asked for better service i would recommend their services to anyone looking for amazing quality and savings.

Let me start off by saying that the positive reviews make me wonder who is posting them...... Steve or maybe Beth The only statement that I can agree with is that they do have a great selection of dresses, BUT that does not outweigh the horrible things about this place of business. I ordered my dress 13 months before my wedding. After it was ordered and it was 'supposed' to be in in January I never heard from Enzo's again. I called to inquire about the dress and was spoken to in such a nasty manner. Beth acted that she was annoyed that I would actually call to check up on a $2500.00 purchase!!! After about 15 minutes of passing the phone to different people to get an answer for me I was told that it would be in by the end of the month. End of the month comes....no call so once again I call. I was dealt with in the same way and was then told it would be here in Feburary, by the middle of Feburary. Middle of Feburary would be the 15th correct? Well Feburary 15th comes and goes, no phone call. So once again I call and the dress is still not here. I begin to get annoyed and inquire why the date keeps getting moved. Beth states that the dress is made in China and that it has been their chinese new year. So I guess that affects the 13 months prior that I ordered my dress? It now is March 1st and still no dress (my wedding is May 15th). After many phone calls (me to Enzo of course) the dress comes in on March 11th. When I go to try on the dress.......it is 4 and 1/2 inches too short!!!!!! I begin to cry and Beth asks what is the matter "it looks beautiful", "what's wrong?". I continued to ask if she had her glasses on because you could see my ankle and the dress came up to mid calf!! I started to call around and got the number of the designer for my dress. After telling her the situation she gave me a number of the manufacter of the dress. After numerous emails and phone calls with the manufacter they determined it was an error with the measuring and the dress! After Enzo's was confronted with this information that the manufacter/designer was contacted they were livid! Steve rolled his eyes when I went in to try to get them to correct THEIR mistake. Their answer was that they would fix it..... after everything that I went through already with them, and their mistakes I COULDNT trust that they would fix the dress, so I took the dress and went down the road to Castle Couture. The seamstress there fixed the dress and it was AMAZING!!!!!

Karma........ it comes back around :)

PS: Steve and Beth state that the people who post on these things are their competition but the truth hurts...... they were your customers!!!!!

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE PRESS DO A SPECIAL ON THIS BUSINESS.... PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED :)

i was a little hesitant to shop at enzo bridal at first because of all these reviews. but once i entered the store, i realized these reviews were highly highly exaggerated. futhermore, i shopped probably ... the entire state of new jersey for a wedding gown, and ENZO had the biggest selection ive ever even seen anywere!!!! they have the most beautiful gowns and the most reasonable prices. the service was great and the alterations came out perfect. and they even called me AFTER my wedding to follow up and see how i was doing. i really dont understand most of these reviews but hey, you win some you lose some.

I really wish my best friend would of looked at these reviews before she went there. These reviews are NOT over reacting. Horrible, horrible service. Could care less about the customer. Once they get your money they dont give you another second thought. It is 3 wks before the wedding and the bridesmaids dresses are lost and NOBODY seems to care. They keep giving us a nonchalant attitude! They were supposed to be in weeks ago, nobody cares to call to find out anything. They keep saying .."oh next week" ... "next week". They dont call you about anything... even when the brides dress was in!! she had to call and find out it was just sitting there for 2 weeks and no one called her!! they didnt call the bride back to give her new information on where the bridesmaids dresses "supposedly" are! I had to call and they act like ... "well ...ugh.. why are you so upset??" are you people kidding me!!??! Never ever again. AWFUL!! AWFUL!! AWFUL!! Run in any other direction but in the direction of this store!! SERIOUSLY!!

Enzo's bridal is the worst store in Monmouth county. They are liars and cheats. I have contacted the better business on them and have also contacted the shame on you news program to do a story on their business. The executive producer from the show contacted me and we have been working on all the details to do the show and expose the FRAUD owner, steve. Everyone will soon see what horrible customer service you give and never return to your shop. In addition, I have contacted app.com about my experience there and I expect them to also run a story on what a poorly run business they have. The media is supportive of cracking down on people trying to ruin bride's dreams! KARMA IS A B*tch!!

There are so many reasons why I hate Enzo's bridal. I hope other brides read this one day and stay far, far away from them. Here are my top 10 reasons to stay away.

#1- The worst service ever. They dont return calls EVER. Once they have your money, they forgert you exist.

#2- The lie about everything and anything.

#3- The screw up your order. My dress was actually wrong once it came in. The dumb ass people they have working there actually screwed up the order.

#4- The owner is a liar, cheat and crook. He should be put in jail for his BS games.

#5- The store manager is also a liar and doesnt know what she is doing. She is also a liar and a coward.

#6- They will ruin your wedding dreams.

#7- Did I mention how bad their customer service was?? THE WORST
#8- The do the worst alterations I have ever seen. The completely messed up mine.

#9- They do no care about their customers AT ALL.

#10. They show no empathy when something goes wrong. They have a "who cares" attitude.

I will do everything in my power to get brides not to go there. I will post on every message board and contact every media head until jusice is served. I cant see another bride go thru what I have gone thru with those people.

Enzo- do yourself a favor and SHAPE UP.

Save yourself the stress and disaster and do not go to ENZO bridal..They lie about everything..I ordered a dress and it took 11 months to come in..The customer service is non-existent..The owner is a jerk who has no clue whats going on in the store nor does he care..My veil was rolled up in a ball under a bunch of other items..They never called when any items came in..They ordered the wrong tiara and shoes and didn't even apologize or make it right..Do not go there..It was a miserable experience and I wish I had researched the store before I ordered from them!!

When I initially went to Enzo I didn't have any issues. I got my dress, shoes and tiara from them. That was the last time the service was good. They never called me to tell me when my dress was in, I had to call them. There were things missing from my dress that had to be ordered, again, they never called me when those things were in, I had to call them. My shoes were never ordered when I ordered my dress, and when my shoes finally came in, yet again, I had to call them! The owner Steve is a crook and he has ZERO customer service skills. I sat in his store crying because of how I was treated and he couldn't care less! Thankfully the bridal shop where I got my girls dresses is stepping in and helping me out with everything I need including alterations!!! These people are liars and for lack of a better term suck at their jobs. Brides beware...go somewhere else!!!

I am currently waiting for my bridal party dresses and mother of the brides dresses to come in. Wedding is in 3 weeks and our dresses still arent in! (Not to mention they still have to be altered). This is the worst, most disorganized place I have ever done business with!!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The staff is rude esp their new MANAGER. She hung up the phone on me when I was asking about my dresses!

Cross you fingers and please hope my dresses are in time for my wedding!!!

Terrible! Very rude and their seamstress doesn't know what she's doing. Every time we walked in there was a problem. The one worker was unbelievably rude to me when my sister, the bride asked my opinion. I wasn't going to lie to her and tell her it looked find when they had altered her dress two sizes too small. She told me I was stressing the bride out and that I was making everything worse. Stay far far AWAY!

I went everywhere for my gown and believe me when i say that i had on over 200 gowns. When i went to Enzo's i didn't expect what i had waiting for me beyond the doors. They found me my dream gown and it was so affordable. It was my lucky day they just added it to the princess package. I got it for 995 with my veil! my shoes! and my tiara included! You cant do any better then that. My low cost gown looked stunning everyone at my wedding raved about the gown and how well it was fitted to me. Thank you enzo for making my wedding fabulous!!

I am not being over dramatic when I say that this place should be shut down. I MORE than agree with all of the negative comments about this store. My dress came in late and two sizes too small. I stupidly gave them two opportunities to make it right and each time I went back there were more holes and more stains. Not to mention that you can only take a dress out so much before you change the dress or ruin it. My dress had organza silk on it which is not a very forgiving material and they just butchered it. I, too, finally took it outta there and took it to someone who knew what they were doing. Check out the Better Business Bureau website. There is a complaint from this year (2009) about merchandise not being delivered. The complaint was labeled "unresolved" due to the company not responding to the complaint! These people have a lot of nerve and they have you in bad position once you order that dress. A word of overall advice courtesy of my wonderful future mother-in-law...DO NOT GIVE ANY BRIDAL SHOP YOUR REAL WEDDING DATE!!! Tell them it's about two months early so that you can avoid any potential problems and have some time to work on it. If my wedding wasn't in one month, I would have demanded a dress to be ordered in my correct size instead of ruining the one they incorrectly ordered for me. To this day, they will not admit it.

My Maid of Honor and I went there for a particular dress for her that only they have in the area. Before we even stepped foot in the store a woman leaving the parking lot stopped her car to ask if we were considering purchasing a dress there, when we said yes she told us to reconsider because she was waiting for a necklace that she ordered nine months prior. At that point we both got nervous, if it takes nine months for a necklace to come in how long will it take for a dress? When we entered the store a sales girl was looking through the veils, she looked up at us without saying a word and then went back to looking at the veils. I understand you are with a bride but you can't even say "hello"? Once we found the dress we were there to try on we were fine until we were wanting to order it. The woman that was in the front was not very reassuring when we asked how long it would take for the dress to come in. She kept telling us it is usually three months but it depends, it could take a lot longer. She was not very pleasant and almost like she was too good to be helping us. After the woman in the parking lot's remarks and their attitude issues we have decided to not make this a stressful time and will find another salon that may not have the dress in store but will be able to order it for us. After coming home and reading these other reviews I think we made the right choice. I hope that other brides make the right choice also.

I found Enzo bridal to be the most pleasant bridal shop in the area. I went all over and couldn't find a shop that catered to me quite like this one. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a unique gown made to the best quality at an affordable price. The manager was very helpful and the sales people were "WORLD CLASS".

Please do not get your dress there, I had nothing but problems with this store. They make up prices as they go along, they tell one person one price and another to someone else. They makeup bogus deals on there storefront and the owner needs to learn how to be nice to people. He yelled at me in the store in front of people. I love my dress and that only reason i got it there, if i knew how horrible they were i would went somewhere else. Please dont giv them your business

Your wedding day is supposed to be a day full of great memories and a great time planning. You should be pampered like a princess. Enzo Bridal increases your stress level tremendously the moment you are committed to them. Their customer service is awful and the owner assumes no accountability for anything. He pretends that he had no idea that a customer was unhappy. His staff is disorganized and very rude and insulting. I was called in to pick up my dress last night for my brother's wedding next week (I had a second fitting scheduled for 9/11 and a pick up date of 9/17), and it was not even ready nor pressed.I had to wait. They were horrible to another bridesmaid who happens to be a plus size. I am getting married next year, and I have seen beautiful dresses there, however, I will search for them at another Bridal Salon--NOT Enzo Bridal. Brides, make sure you get referrals when it comes to this. This place is absolutely awful!!!

I couldn't agree more, they have terrible service and the girls are sooo rude.The seamstress left holes in my dress the day of pickup. There were stains and the alterations were not right. I had to bring my dress somewhere else a week before my wedding after spending 5,000 on my dress. I will never ever go back there! I highly recommend Hearts for you on route 9 !!! Lisa fixed everything for me!

If you don't want to have to stress about wedding dresses or bridesmaid dresses...then don't go to Enzo Bridal on Rt. 9. The customer service is terrible. They are mean and make you feel very uncomfortable when you ask them anything. The seamstress doesn't really know what she is doing and will try to talk you out of doing something if it is too much work for her. After 3 fittings I had to pull my dress out of there and go to a seamstress that knew what she was doing!!! I would never recommend them to anyone.
