I see a lot of good reviews so either they never had to deal with what I went through, they are related, or they were taken care of to give a false review. My experience with my salesman, Matt, would have been fine had the office manager and finance manager not been such total AH'ole's. I chose not to purchase their extended warranty and their protective service for the car. They did everything they could, except hold me hostage, to get me to buy these services. They were rude, pushy and tried to make me look stupid and a complete fool in the process. To tell you the truth, if I did not know better about the "Honda" car, I would have thought they were trying to tell me that when the 3 year, 36 month warranty expired, my car was probably going to fall apart.

I believe that if I were a guy, they would never have treated me that way. Pushy, rude, inappropriate and totally obnoxious. The only reason why I completed the purchase is (1) there were no other honda civic ex manuals out there period, I liked my salesman (although I kind of think his niceness at the end was just a show to get through the deal). He knows which side of the bread his butter is on.

I have bought quite a few cars so far in my life, and this was the absolutely worst experience I have ever had at ANY dealership.

I had an issue with the service department....I found their break fix prices to be ridiculous. I called a local garage and had the work done for 50% less. The worst part of my whole service experience was that they charged me 51.50 to "check my breaks". All they did was look through my widely spaced rims and say...yep you need brake pads and new rotors. Thanks for nothing...that was I told you when I dropped my car off. With my car there they call me to tell me that the cost is going to be 100% more than we originally quoted you at? I called there bluff and the manager dropped the price by 20%.....still way over what a local garage would charge. I'm pissed that they wasted my time and charged me for my troubles.

I bought one new car here many years ago because at that time (I was 20 years old) no other dealer wanted to take me seriously. I was very impressed with the helpful but not pushy salesman. 14 years later I went back, and he was still there. He was incredibly helpful, but the fact is I got the exact same car somewhere else for about $2000 less. They sell fewer cars at a higher price than other dealers, who make up for lower price with volume.

I had a great experience purchasing my car at Honda of Princeton. The sales staff was patient, thorough and fair. I had shopped at a couple of other dealerships before deciding to go to Honda and this experience was completely different. I felt very comfortable working with them and know I got a great deal on my trade-in and the new car.

Out of the many dealerships I have been to, I would have to say that Honda of Princeton has one of the nicest sales departments you will every have to deal with. None of them are pushy; they help make your buying decision very easy without forcing you to buy.
