Pros: If you're up for Gyros - this is the place!

Cons: Not really a restaurant, but hey, you go there for street food, and that's what you get.

.

Gyro had greasy bread, a ton of white sauce & raw onion, 1-1.5" tomato slice, 6 French Fries, & 2-1/2 ounce pieces of meat. You get more on a McD small burger! It's a shame because place has potential - clean, quick, food looked fresh & cheap prices. Problem is the guy making the gyros. He should be fired. Maybe confined? As per signs, all Gyros are $3 with choice of Lamb, Chicken, Pork & Beef. I order the Lamb (is what a gyro IS). Guy makes it. Looks good. Girl on the register rings it up - $4.75. I tell her that is a mistake. She looks at cook guy. So he comes over to tell me too bad, you have to take it and glares at me as if to intimidate. I manage not to laugh in the little guys face and politely tell him I want what I ordered - $3 lamb gyro. He says they do have any such thing. The lamb is $4.75. I think about taking it and paying-it is only an extra $1.75. But it is not my mistake & the place is dead, so it should be quick. So I ask him what kind of meat comes on the $3 gyro. He gets mad and asks if I am taking the first gyro. I say I'll take it for $3. He curses, grabs the gyro from the counter, throws it against the opposite wall behind the counter causing the sandwich to "explode" all over the cooking & prep areas, dressings, and toppings. At that point I should have just left. I ask the dreaded question again, "What kind of meat can I have on the $3 gyro?" I kid you not; first word out of his mouth is "lamb"? I ask why he charged $4.75 for the lamb if it is $3? He says it is not $3, only $4.75. I order chicken. He cuts a fair portion of chicken, grills it, then throws 3/4 of it out before putting it onto the pita. At this point, I just take it and pay. I know, I should have walked out. But I always feel badly when I see perfectly good food wasted. I don't need this on my lunch hour, it is a beautiful summer day & this guy is not going to ruin it. AVOID IF COOK IS SHORT GUY/LONG HAIR
