The store is selling frozen food that expired in 2007 in 2011 !!! Most of the food items don't even have expiry dates. \r

Choices are very limited. No price tags on most of the items.\r
\r
Avoid ! Better drive to Raleigh or Greensboro

I just moved to the area and am disappointed with the only Indian grocery store in Roanoke. The selection is poor, the store is small, many frozen items seem to be thawed and refrozen (which is a health hazard and likely illegal). Also many items do not have prices, and it is somewhat up to the register person to charge whatever he feels like. Have been overcharged many many times for items even with prices displayed. The clerk would ring one item at 3.99 and click the enter button for subsequent items even if they were supposed to be 1.99 or 2.99, thus overcharging. I am actively investigating alternative stores nearby (Blacksburg?) and am considering regular trips to the DC metro area and avoid this store.

Pros: At least there is an Indian Grocery Store in Roanoke

Cons: Frozen items thawed, register rigging
