This is a great deal! 2 movies for $9.00 per adult and each adult can bring 2 children in at no charge. (so a family of 4 can see 2 great movies for $18 ) and you can bring in your own snacks and really save $$$$
We love this drive in. Hope it stays around for a really long time!!!

My family lives in West St Louis County, and this is the only drive-in movie theatre within a 90 minute drive. In the olden days, they charged one price per car. This Skyview charges $9 PER PERSON over age 12, so unfortunately, this is not an inexpensive night-out if you have teens...especially since you must also supply a portable radio to hear the movie - or drain your car battery. The concession and bathrooms are really dirty, poorly lit, and gross. For the $9 ticket fee and money they save not providing any audio - they should be able to remodel the facility, and allow any age child, accompanied by an adult. We had to sit inside the car, in order to get away from the thick cigarette smoke from every car around us. They should have a smoking area to spare people who'd like to breathe while they try to enjoy the movie.

This is a great movie experience for the whole family. There are not many drive-ins left in the country. It is $8 per car for admission. You cannot take the family and see a movie anywhere else for that amount of money. They are open about 9 months out of the year.

Drive Inn Theaters are almost extinct yet this drive inn is always packed from April thru October. Not only do they play the newest release movies, but they offer two movies per night per screen and they offer two screens. So you can take your whole family for approximently $15 to watch two new release movies in a relaxing atmosphere.

Pack your coolers, blankets, snacks and playing cards head to the drive inn early to insure a great spot! And hey while you are waiting on the movie to start you can visit the concesssion stand or play cards with your friends while the kids play on the playground in the front of the drive inn.

Residents in the Metro East treasure our drive inn and highly recommend you visit it with your family soon.

PROS: Inexpensive Family Fun!
CONS:

One of the few left around. We take our family out there every summer to see movies. Get out the lawn chairs, coolers and popcorn, back the car up and turn it to the fm station and kick back and relax and watch a great movie on a giant screen. You have your choice of two screens, offering 4 movies. We always get there early so the kids can play up front on the playground before the movie. We all love it. I am so glad we have a drive in in Belleville!

The Skyview Drive-in has become a family tradition. Where else can an entire family of six see a movie for $15? We bring our own candy and buy the popcorn at the original 1949 concession stand to support this awesome landmark. Turn your FM radio station to hear the sound and you can even watch it through your trunk or windshield if you don't want to bear the cold evening. A really fun time for all!
