1 Stars: Not so great (by Karen M.)

We went on 3/14/09 before the Ron White show. I ordered something simple, chicken Caesar salad and my husband ordered a hamburger med well. The chicken in the salad was over cooked and quite dry and my husband's burger was extremely overdone. I also ordered a bloody mary which I couldn't drink. Their was way too much tomato mix in the drink. I did have a vodka tonic which was decent enough. I would NOT recommend this place. It was very noisy, we couldn't even talk to each other and jam packed. I think the only reason it is jammed packed is because people don't know the area so they go to the closest place which as it happens is hockeytown cafe. Save your money, find a different spot.

4 Stars: Great Atmosphere (by Mark O.)

Went here before a Tigers/Angels game -- bar service was extremely slow for the number of people in here but the restaurant service was excellent. Food was hot and tasted great too.

4 Stars: Second City is gone ... but ... (by C P.)

Hockey Town at its finest remains. Renovation or no renovation this is still a great place to go for food and atmosphere. A little expensive, but tell me what is not expensive anymore. This is a great part of Detroit to hang out and have a good time.

5 Stars: Hockey town is the best detroit has to offer (by Tanya K.)

Ever since they revamped this restaurant/bar (I think this is their 3rd renovation), it has become extremely popular. There are many huge plasma screens to watch any game on, and two beautiful motercycles courtesy of American Choppers that carry the theme of red Wings and Tigers. Their restaurant is very clean and their staff very helpful.

5 Stars: Great place to see a hockey game (by Natalie S.)

Their burgers are actually pretty good for a sports bar, and there is a ton of hockey related items to look at--even a gift store. A lot to see for kids as well as adults. Parking is in the Fox Theatre parking structure, and free if you tell them you are getting food, and not seeing a show.
