Excellent deals! They have a lot of new Items, I found a stand operated by two ladies, they had a nice selection of brand new kitchenware and the price was phenomenal.

arrived at flea market 10:00am sunday.police had parking lot completely blocked off. asked where do I park, had no suggestion.what a shame that this just reopened and there is no parking. To make matters worse, we drove an hour and ended up going to Columbus.Come on Tacony get your act together! I still dont understand how a lot could just close.I'm sure people left to make room for other shoppers.

Great flea market! Been going here for years. Have made a lot of friends among the venders here.
Unfortunately Palmyra is trying every trick in the book to get possession of the land because they want to build an expo center here.

They have tried eminent domain, police closing of the parking lot, using the EPA, to do their dirty work, etc.. using the local police to close the parking lot and turning away customers who said that there were no spots available when there were hundreds of spots empty.

Recently, the flea market was temporarily closed due to an EPA cleanup because of some remnants of shell testing from WW2. It was supposed to re-open after 3 weeks. That would have re-opened it in march. it is now JUNE and it is still not open!

This is abuse of government.. Several years ago, local government forced the closure of the Pennsauken Mart located about a mile away from the flea market. They had promises of a local sports arena, semi pro hockey team, concert venue, etc.. AFTER the closure the state cancelled all the plans and sold it to a private developer. It forced all the stores and small venders to go elsewhere .Some had been there for several decades before being forced out.

Many thousands of shoppers visit the flea market every day trying to get the best deals on items. Many of the customers are low income who can't afford to shop anywhere else. It is a crime to target this flea market to try to raise more in taxes for the government to squander.

It seems that the government gets more in tax dollars from a high end residential housing development.

I foresee the same thing happening at Tacony Palmyra Flea market.

Save the flea market!!!

Have seen alot of things in this place. Some of the workers are very rude. Its a city market, what do you expect. If the owner only know what some of the workers were doing, he would fire some of them. Never heard of selling spots for more than what they are going for then pocketing the rest. They never repair pot holes in the shopping area or the parking lot. Many people have fell. I got a rip in my transmission due to the pot holes. Car stopped running due to all tranny fluid ran out. No one is allowed to sell food but them. Food is sky high in price and very small amount. Doesnt taste to good either. Manager will ban you from selling there real easy. The worst bathrooms i ever saw. Toilet paper everywhere. Smells terrible. Water leaking everywhere. They refuse to clean it until the end of the day after over 1000 people used it. Occasionally, fist fights break out from buyers. Buyers just walk through and steal whatever they want from your table and walk away. Never any police around. Security sometimes is to bossy. Totally not enough parking. They turn hundreds of cars away several times a day from coming in and shopping due to small parking area. The owners dont care. The old owners cared. I miss the old owners. Even after all these problems i still love this flea market. I will keep coming until they close it down.

I RECENTLY WANTED TO SELL ITEMS AT TACONY AND I WAS TOLD THERE WERE NO SLOTS AVAILABLE. INSTEAD OF PUTTING A SIGN TO SAY ALL SLOTS WERE TAKEN THEY MAKE YOU SIT OUTSIDE FOR 6+ HOURS AND WHEN THEY OPEN THEY TELL YOU THEY HAVE NO SLOTS. THE SPANISH GIRL WHO WORKS IN THE BOOTH IS VERY RUDE. AFTER SITTING THERE WATCHING SHE HAD HER PICKS ON WHO SHE GAVE A SLOT TO WHICH ISN'T FAIR. IT SHOULD BE BASED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. WHOEVER IS HEAD OF TACONY NEEDS TO GET ON THIS INSTEAD OF HAVING PEOPLE GET THERE 2:00 AM IN THE MORNING AND WHEN YOU GUYS OPEN YOU ARE TOLD ALL THE SLOTS ARE TAKEN WHEN NO SIGN WAS AVAILABLE TO INFORM THOSE WHO WANTED TO SELL.

In my opinion, Tacony Palmyra Flea Market is the best one around here. They have vendors selling everything that you can think of. They have used items, craft items and many vendors sell new items for much less than the asking price. They are open every Saturday and Sunday. One of my favorite times to go here is right before school starts. They have every school supply you will need and then some for very low prices. Sometimes you can even find someone out there selling sneakers and shoes for the kids for school. Great prices!
