Sumi's Boutique 
This is the type of place that fuses quite brilliantly the concept of contemporary and underground. It's fashionably chic interior is japanese simplicity at its most american best. I frequently shop here to buy pieces for my girlfriend or girl friends, because the majority of jewely here is handmade by artists that are not yet appreciated by the world. Quality is NOT a question, they carry an assortment of well made goods at reasonable prices. It'll get ya the same reaction as tiffany jewelry at a lesser cost fellas. If you got the eye you'll zero in on a definite object here. Did I mention there is a very hip art gallery in the back? I've also bought art and been to art shows here. Family friendly hip stuff. Stop here! YOU CANT GO WRONG!!! I usually say don't take my word for it, but this time you have no choice.

Gorgeous items 
It's rare to see so many disparate pieces fit together so well. From the handbags to the jewelry to the vases and bowls, everything in here is simply beautiful. You want to pick it up, but then you dont'. You just look at it. Definitely things that you want in your closet or on your table...

Great shopping on the eastern end of Sunset Blvd.
I discovered Sumi's after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. I couldn't resist purchasing one of the one-of -a-kind fabric purses. The colors and textures go with everything! I have since been back several times to purchase more purses and other accessories for gifts, and have delightfully added more to my wardrobe. What also brings me back to the store is the warmth and friendliness of Sumi. Her store is a relaxing, contemporary, and comfortable shopping experience. It's a true shopping find on the eastern leg of Sunset Blvd.
Pros: Ambience/service
Cons: No parking lot. Sometimes have to circle the block to find a space, but it's worth the effort.

Sumi's on Sunset is a one stop shop!
Drench your entire group of friends and your pad with goodies from this well designed shop on Sunset.
You can find everything from handcrafted Brazilian gold jewelry to a cool flask for your man.
Sumi has adorable handbags o' plenty and amazing art too.
I am a local realtor in the Silver Lake area and anytime I need an extra special groovy gift for my clients,
Sumi delivers........need a quicky gifty poo? Well run baby run, because Sumi's the one!

Truly unique pieces
Every time I walked into Sumi's, I'm wow'd by the unique selection of jewelry she has. Though she also carries purses, scarves and other types of accessories, it is her taste and uniqueness in the jewelry she sells that keeps me and my friends going back again and again. Just bought the most beautiful ring there, and it's nice to know that very few (if any) people in the area are wearing the same piece. I am so happy with my purchase and will definitely be going back for more. WARNING: shopping at Sumi's can become addictive!
Pros: So many unique and wonderful pieces in htis boutique!
Cons: SHOPPING AT SUMI'S CAN BECOME ADDICTIVE!

Best jewelry store EVER!
Ever since I found Sumi's, I've been addicted. She's got the most incredible eye for the unique, the beautiful and the "every day" pieces. At first I convinced myself that it was okay to splurge on all the gorgeous treasures so long as I was buying myself jewelry to mark a significant occasion...when I ran out of important life moments, or at least ones that I wanted to remember, I told myself that the jewelry is all heirloom-quality, I'll be wearing it for years. It is the first place I go to find gifts for my friends and relatives, and it is impossible for me to get out of there without something beautiful for myself. Every single piece of jewelry I own from Sumi's gets me compliments, and I am always so excited to send people in. Go! Go now before I buy everything!!!!
