Love it love it love it! They have the most random stuff in the window, from 60s furniture to faux fur covered telephones to mannequins covered in everything you could never imagine. Great for costumes, vintage coats and gifts. Whether I found what I was specifically looking for or not, I always find something fantastic.

I love this store. My friends and I go down here when we are bored and pick up the most random things to try on and have a good time. Usually the people don't care unless you start taking a picture or make a mess so don't do that. I end up buying something complete random and fun and wear it every other day of my life. This store is just ridiculously fun.

Hollywood Mirror is so fun! Some of the stuff in there is kind of sketch, so always always look for stains and such but they usually try to keep the things in there ok. It's perfect for costumes that you're putting together yourself or if you want some fun things to wear for theme nights or whatever. It's pretty cheap too so you dont have to worry about spending too much on things you might only wear once or twice. But its really fun.

hollywood mirror is a resale shop located on belmont on the northside of chicago. they have tons of 'vintage' blue jeans and lots of 1950's memoribilia (toys, ads, dinnerware) as well. it's mostly recycled clothing so i recommend you inspect everything well before buying. they have lots of vintage coats, i picked up a really nice brown cordorey jacket here for dirt cheap. there's a lot of 70's stuff as well, big collars and ugly bright suits, but it's all really cheap so it can be fun to wear once in awhile. the store is huge and the cashier was nice (no one on the floor helps you) but parking on belmont is difficult at best.
PROS: unique vintage store
CONS: no parking
