dr. david kindred

I absolutely love going to Kindred's office. He delivered my first son almost 4 years ago and is taking care of this pregnancy as well. I had a miscarriage between the 2 and everyone in the office is empathetic and helpful as to how to cope and other places that help with coping. He has a great personality and the best bedside manner. He does run late at times but if you were the best in the area you would be busy and late too!!!

excellent bed side manner.
very busy doc but when he is in the room with you, you would never know, he takes his times, answers your questions
and his nurse staff works just as hard, I have had problems getting pregnant and had a missed miscarriage and they were great for both - sympathetic during the miscarriage and rooted us on while we where trying to conceive.
I also have had 3 babies under his care - and the best
doc - he was there for all 3 births and he tries to be for each baby.
during our infertility we tried several drugs, ran tests for both my husband and myself, ultrasounds each cycle, and had IUI under his care. he is a beginning infertility doc, so if you need IVF he doesn't do that, but many OB's don't. I would recommend him to everyone, if you want a doc that cares I would chose Dr. Kindred

I couldn't disagree more with some previous reviews. I had fertility problems and went to see him for just that reason. He suggested that my husband also get checked out for problems. Prescribed clomid for me. And checked my tubes. His bedside manner was excellent during the miscarriage of twin sons (8 years ago) as well as the difficult pregnancy and live birth of my daughter (6 years ago). I moved 2 hours away from Peoria 2 years ago, and just can't bring myself to change to a closer office. I've been seeing Dr. Kindred for 10 years now.

Dr. Kindred is wonderful! He delivered 3 of my children and I would recommend him to anyone. The only bad thing I would say about him is his choice in Midwifes. Sherry is quite possibly the most air-headed & unprofessional person you could ever be stuck in a delivery room with!!! I have never felt so helpless in my life!! Thank the lord she works under Kindred so he can be there to take over(clean up her mess) when she screws up. Otherwise, who knows what might of happened.

I liked Dr Kindred until I began to have problems getting pregnant. He advertises that he specializes in infertility problems...but he really doesn't know what he is doing. However it took going to a real infertitly MD to find that out. Among several problems....He never once advised my husband and I to have my husband checked for his own fertility problems (which we BOTH have problems), he put me on Clomid and never bothered to make sure my tubes were open. Final straw was after several rounds of Clomid didn't work the office stopped being helpful and I think they didn't want to deal with my anymore. He might be great if you aren't having trouble getting pregnant...but if you are find another MD

Dr. Kindred has been my doctor for over a year now and has helped me through everything from a yeast infection to ovarian cysts. His personality is great but his office is so busy! Anytime that I visit his new office there is a long wait. When I call, the phone is busy EVERY TIME. I repeatedly call at different hours of the day and need to call many times in a row to get through and am then asked if I can hold. Aside from being too busy (for obvious reasons) Dr. Kindred has the perfect personality for his job.

Dr Kindred delivered my last son and has taken care of my multiple medical problems since then. I moved to Wisconsin after seeing him for 2 year and logically changed doctors. After seeing multiple doctors in my area, I've switched back to Dr Kindred because of the attentiveness of the doctor and his staff. From cancer scares to endometriosis and child birth the doctor has never failed to inform me of all my options and talk through them with me in detail. He's worth the day taken off work to see him and make sure that I get the best care.

Dr. Kindred is the best. He has delivered all of my children and we plan on having him deliver our 5th child. He has a great bedside manner, great personality and just all round a lovely man. I recommend him to everybody I meet and several of my friends go to him as well. Looking for a new ob/gyn this is your guy!!!!!

I received the best care I have experienced from an ob/gyn from Doc. Kindred. He was very personable and thorough regarding all my special needs. He helped me through a difficult time on a professional level as well as support in a very personal way. Excellent care as well as bedside manner of an "old" fashioned doctor.

Dr. Kindred was referred to me by a friend who is a labor and delivery nurse. He is exceptional (as far as I've seen). He took the time to talk to me through my appointment. He gave great information and I never felt hurried! The office is really busy so appointments do run late from time to time. Be sure to book early in the morning to ensure a better chance your appointment doesn't start late. Free parking too!
