Highly recommend this OB/GYN.... I've been going there for over 20 years.... while I miss Dr. McCall and some of the others that have come and gone over the years, I love the one's who've replaced them i.e. Sharon. The office staff are courteous and professional. Kudo's to Judy and Anna who make the appt.s they are A++ in my book.. The fact that I am a 20+ years patient should speak for itself !!! I do have one warning though. I was unfortunate to have one of my children delivered by Dr. Banogon and it was the MOST AWFUL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Dr. Banogon is rude, crass, harsh, and vacuous of a personality. I didn't care for her when I met her during my prenatal care; she was the only one that I prayed i wouldn't get for delivery. ... unfortunately I did. So for routine and more difficult problems I recommend this practice.

I came from another location that before I ever left the office any procedures were scheduled, next appointments were scheduled and any other notations, prescriptions that the Dr. had mentioned would be taken care of at the time of paying.
I am very disappointed with the staff at this office & their organization of scheduling. If I was serving a new patient I would go out of my way to explain how the system works so I don't loose money at my business to wait. also it has been over a week waiting for the call to schedule a procedure I think they may need a taste of their own medicine. Our time is valuable too.

I recommend this OB to all of my friends and family. Everyone I know now goes there and loves it. The doctors have always taken impeccable care of me. During my first pregnancy they answered all of my questions and took great care of my needs. When I began having symptoms of toxemia they were there. Dur ring my 2nd pregnancy they were there to listen to me cry when I went a few days past my due date. And now with the possibility of cervical cancer they have still become a more unified and caring staff. I could not ask for more in an OB. This is a very large and busy office. I have encountered long wait times or hold times but, it is worth it to be a patient at what is in my opinion the best OB in Central PA. And, as for the poor reviews the on call Dr. doesn't even work at the office. Or at least I have never heard of him and you have to meet all Dr's during you pregnancy visits. Bad days and mistakes happen none of us are perfect. The quality of care I receive there outweighs the occasional bad day a person there has. Also, there are enough staff members that if someone makes me really peeved I just make sure to make my appointments to avoid them and if necessary report them to a higher authority.

I found the doctors at this office to be unfriendly and not very thorough. I was disappointed, as they were recommended by my P.A. and I thought she would steer me in the right direction. I must say the the Nurse Practitioner, Sharon Jones, is amazing - but that is one of my only positive experiences. Throughout my pregnancy I would ask questions - some I was told were "too specific and ridiculous". Not very reassuring for a first time pregnancy. I was nervous and had a lot on my mind. You'd think they'd be sympethic to that.
The icing on the cake was that my daughter was breach and not one doctor there knew until I was 6 cm dilated!!!! Thank God everything ended up being fine, but a lot of things could have gone wrong. I haven't gone back since my 6 week post delivery check up and never will.

I went in for a blood test on a Tuesday. On Wednesday they assured me "everything was ok" but it was IMPERATIVE that I return on Thursday (Thanksgiving) for a new blood test. Since their office was closed, they sent a referral to the Harrisburg Hospital. The referral was missing the word 'stat' and since they weren't my PCP, I couldn't get the test. I called the on-call doctor, Dr. Seagraves, and he said "I can't fax anything, I'm at home with my family. It's Thanksgiving." No kidding? I'm not home with my family because you sent me here. The nurse at the hospital stated the test was necessary, they were looking for trouble with something in my early pregnancy, and to please wait for the Dr. to verbally authorize the 'stat.' I was worried, I was told there were no issues, but the nurse explained if there were none, it would not have been necessary to send me to an out-of-network facility, on a holiday. True. So they sent the result to the doctor within 2 hours on Thursday, but I let it go since the rude doctor wouldn't be h elpful today, anyway. I called Friday and left a message with the answering service, no response. Finally, FOUR DAYS LATER, monday rolls around. I call the office, press the # SPECIFICALLY for test results, the woman places me on hold for an excruciating 25 minutes, and then comes back and laughs that I though I could get my test results. She said a doctor first has to look at them , and call me back. I explained my panic, esp. since the test was taken four days ago (if results were so fast and they weren't going to call me, why couldn't I have gone this morning instead of on a holiday?), and I was notified Dr. Seagraves had the results when I called the hospital at 4pm. The woman on the phone was no help, only laughed. It is now 30 minutes later and I'm searching for a new OB.

I called an hour later, and spoke with the other receptionist. She put me on hold for about 5 minutes and came back and said nobody had even checked to see if the paper results had been faxed to the office, and they weren't. She was to be calling the harrisburg hostpital how to have the results faxed. We agreed I would call back at noon.

It is now 12:20. I've been on hold for 23 minutes and nobody has come back to check in, or to let me know if they've gone to lunch or anything. What a joke of an office.
