.

This park is located behind the Moundville Elementary School and is open to the public. The "theme" is Native American (to compliment our Moundville Archaeological Park). There are two sections: one for smaller kids, and one for bigger kids. The smaller child section has small slides, swings for toddlers, and sand pits as well as a few other fun activities. The other section has big slides and towers and tunnels, as well as swings, and bars to play on.
There are picnic tables to "make a day of it", and sidewalks to skate on, if the kids like to skate.

PROS: open to the public, built by the community, many activities
CONS: needs new wood chips for the ground, also used as a school playground
