Ratings_icons Worst experience ever

Jonas A.

My experience with this store is not good.

I ordered an Eten M800 for $650. The phone arrived promptly. The problem was that there was no sound coming out from the phone speaker. I didn't notice that until a couple of days after using it when my bluetooth headset ran out of battery. I was then traveling in business but called Pop-Elect immediately. They told me to send the phone back to them ASAP. Well as I traveled it had to wait till I came back home.

Once I came back home I sent the phone "over night" with all its accessories. It cost me $72. They called me back next day and told me that there was very little they could do for me as I had not send the phone back in its original box. My wife had thrown that away while I was out on a trip.

A good month has passed since I bought this defective phone. Pop-Elect has shipped it to a company called Expansys. They have informed me that I will need to wait another 6-8 weeks prior to get anything back.

So I am left with a $650 + $72 hole in my credit card without any phone.

Apart from their refusal of sending me a new working phone they have been extremely rude. The only way to get them to pick up is if I call without caller ID (they seem to screen calls). They never return calls even though they say they will. When I asked them about the Better Business Bureau and why they had lost their membership there, they hung up on me.

The Better Business Bureau has sent them several inquires on this matter and they have refused to answer. My credit card company seems to have a hard time getting hold of these guys as well. I have now contacted an attorney that is looking into this.

Never ever do business with these guys. If what you buy is not broken I am sure you will have a good experience. If it is broken, prepare for hell.

I was forced to by another phone. Who can live without a phone for several months?

GOod place to shop for Electronic goods and home appliances in Chicago, on Devon Avenue.
They have a good range of popular cell phones Unlocked for a great price.
If you are looking to buy Asian Kitchen applicanes this is the place to go.
Has a great price - You can compare this with near buy shops and the price is atleat 20$s less than the other ones.
They have a good warranty service. They replace the product if it fails during the first 90 days of purchase.
