.

I had DSL with them for 1 and a half years and was forced to have it uninstalled due to sudden increased dropped connection living in the northern area of Corvallis. Its a hassle to setup installation appointment- first with Exchangenet and second with Qwest for, there were frequent down times. DSL relies on city area coverage, if you're phone grid doesn't support them or is outdated technology- you'll be suckered.

Go with Comcast cable internet, higher speeds for a comparable price, no messing with phone lines, if you have cable lines- you've got coverage! less downtime, take advantage of the free Self Installation Kit, it's very very easy to do, they have superior website service compared to Exchangenet's website, Comcast is the lesser of all evils and you'll be surfing teh intarwebs within hours compared to ExchangeNets average 3-7 day home installation drag!

I have not been impressed with Exchange net and the service that they have provided. Their dial up service to Lebanon is super slow, and we have had nothing but problems. While the prices are very reasonable, it is not worth the hassle to me. We have switched internet service providers, and are much happier. I also didnt like that they only have technical support during regular business hours. Who uses the internet between 8-5 Monday through Friday? Not worth your money
