My Dog is alive because of the care and fast response of everyone at Crown City Veterinary. My Lucky boy got a hold of bottle of Dog Aspirin and ate all 72 pills!! We rushed him to Dr. Tyson an Dr. Oh, they lept into action and saved my Dog. My 7yr old would have been crushed to loose her Puppy.. Thanks to the Doctors and staff for caring for my sweet boy...

Dr. Tyson has taken great care of my dog for the last 6 years and now Dr. Oh is also giving him top notch treatment. They always recommend solutions to any health concern that I have. I also boarded my dog there on 2 occasions and was very pleased with that service as well. This is a great facility with very caring staff who truly want what is best for your pet.

everyone there has been great. Not just with my cats but me as well. Everyone there always comments on how sweet they are and they love to see them when they come in. Diagnosis of a food allergy and educating me on proper diet has made life so much better for us all. I now drive quit a distance to this clinic since I have moved out of the area and I am happy to.

Crown City Vet Med is always expanding their knowledge base, their hours, their low cost options, and staff. During a time when the economy is unstable and unforgiving, Crown City Vet Med continues to provide the gold standard of care with a fair price tag. There are low cost vaccines, low cost spays and neuters, and many discounts available. All one needs to do is ask. It would be inappropriate to compare internet prices to one on one care and attention, that remains priceless. So why do some complain? Don't expect anyone to redirect their attention to solicit one persons business based on random questions and phone calls. However, if you bring in your pet you will receive a thorough exam and answers to your questions. Expect to have the entire staff at your disposal and no time limit on your pets care. This may create compliant for the non-emergent situation but imagine the relief of the client with the emergency that is being promptly addressed. The staff at Crown City Vet Med tries hard and they mean well too. Volunteers are never turned away and shadow the veterinarians and staff closely. At times, prospective clients mistake the volunteers for the staff or veterinarian and questions/ messages get lost in translation. Crown City Vet Med is working on having many open lines of communication. In conclusion, human to human communication remains the most effective and appreciated, but remains flawed. The Crown City team shares many skills and responsibilities. That means that everyone participates in maintaining your pet's well being. Please don't be offended if your call goes to voicemail, most of the receptionists are also technical staff. All of the veterinarians attend conferences every year and participate in many of the continuing education opportunities available weekly. Dr. Oh enjoys the new clientele that has begun to appreciate him and Dr. Tyson continues to remain content with her existing clientele of 13 years. The perk in having an established veterinarian corroborating with a recent graduate is experience mixed with the newest cutting edge medicine. Any requests and inquiries about appointments with Dr. Tyson are always honored and scheduled. It is noteworthy to mention that she had been on maternity leave earlier this year but is in the office consistently four days a week. Crown City Vet Med has extended their hours, also. Due to an increase in requests for emergency services, they now have on call staff all night and weekends. Although these services are offered to their existing clients, on any given night Dr. Tyson can be seen through the treatment windows or surgery windows tending to an emergency. Although this is a business it is also home to the Crown City Vet Med staff. Go visit and stay for awhile, you will feel at home too!

So many great reviews about Dr. Tyson & Crown City - my concern is there are no dates for these reviews. Has anyone been there recently, today is 11/22/10 ? It's my understanding that Dr. Tyson is rarely present and most if not all coverage is provided by Dr. Oh. I have visited the hospital and although the front person was very nice - she wasn't very helpful. I've since called to get further assistance but received an answering message several times throughout the day. When I finally got in contact with someone I was told they would call me back shortly and never did.

Are there any new customers who can attest to the impeccable abilities of Dr. Tyson, her associate Dr. Oh and her staff ? It seems as if she gotten a little big for her breeches

My first experience with Dr. Tyson and Crown City Veterinary Clinic was over 5 years ago. At the suggestion of one of my grooming clients, already a client of CCVC and another dear friend, a well know dog handler, trainer and breeder of purebred dogs, also a client of Dr. Tyson??s, I took my breed champion and obedience / agility titled English Cocker Spaniel to see Dr. Tyson after my EC had continued going down hill for over 6 months while under the care of another local veterinary hospital. I was greeted by her staff who was very friendly and courteous. Upon first meeting, I knew immediately that my two referrals were absolutely correct; my EC was in the best care possible. After thorough examination and x-rays, Dr. Tyson recognized my EC had serious problems that had not been addressed. She sent us immediately down to Tustin for special tests. Upon review of those results, she immediately sent us for an MRI to confirm her suspicions. All during this time, Dr. Tyson was in constant contact with me. The day I received the devastating news that my wonderful EC had an inoperable tumor, Dr. Tyson waited for me to come in to the office so she could personally review the scans with me. The moment she saw the results on the screen, she said, ??OMG, the tumor is huge.? (The entire staff of CCVC was also very emotional with this news.) We both knew at that moment, we were in for a battle to save a life, and for at least the time she had left, to give her the best quality of life possible. Thanks to Dr. Tyson, who spent hours and hours with me over the phone and in her office, very patiently answering my unending number of questions with great compassion and care. She discussed frankly and honestly what the options were for us. Due to Dr. Tyson??s exceptional care, my best friend was blessed with an additional 2 years of quality life up to the very end.

Since then, Dr. Tyson has the next generation of English Cockers. One has been particularly challenging from the very beginning. Late one evening, I had to call her because one of my EC??s was having seizures. Dr. Tyson met me at the hospital after hours and immediately went to work on calming the seizures. After numerous tests, she discovered that this one had a major thyroid problem which was causing these seizures. She??s had numerous seizures since but Dr. Tyson has taught me how to handle them. If I have questions, she is always available for consultations and guidance. Again, this same dog was in real trouble a short time later. And again, Dr. Tyson correctly diagnosed her with inflammatory bowel disease with an unbelievable list of food allergies. Dr. Tyson went home and personally cooked oatmeal and ground pork for this dog to get her back up on her feet before she sent her home with me. With constant vigilance, expertise and a change in diet this EC is finally doing very well, albeit still a challenge.

I have referred other friends and all of my grooming clients to CCVC and all are also sure that they are receiving the best possible care for their dogs by Dr. Tyson and her wonderful staff. I am always greeted by name and with great respect by everyone in her office. It is clear to me, with the amount of time I spend there, that Dr. Tyson and her staff treat everyone with the same care, concern and respect, be they family pets of dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, or expensive show and performance dogs, they all receive the same wonderful treatment.

There are not enough wonderful adjectives to describe Dr. Tyson except to say we all are truly fortunate to have such a caring, knowledgeable and compassionate person in our lives. Thank you Dr. Tyson for everything you do.

BEST of SERVICE~I am thankful that I took my Sam*E Cat 2 Crown City=Dr. Tyson had me bring her in on a Sun. Even tho, the Office is Closed, as she hadn't eaten 4 some 12 days, she had been 2 another Vet, who said she needed 2 B on KD food, right away, but she refused 2 eat it. After Dr. Tyson cared 4 her a couple of days, she explained OTHER Tests & Xrays that might B helpful. Her Assistant, Dr. Dionne, cared 4 Sam*E & because I chose 2 refuse further Expenses 4 my Senior Cat, & that she had "told Me" she would not EAT, anymore~I had her put down. Dr Dionne was SOOO sweet & gentle & sympathetic 2 the situation. I, totally, recommend the Entire Staff of the Crown City Clinic 4 the Very Best of CARE by very knowledgable Vets & Staff, whose Follow-Up & Calls R well-handled, & we R LUCKY 2 have such a Service in Pasadena! Bless U ALL! When I get another Pet, it will defnitely go 2 Crown City 4 Care & Treatment!

I just moved to the area and needed to get my cats shots and health checks. I was pleasantly surprised when the vet asked if I wanted to save some money!! She recommended that I subscribe to the Wellness program. I compared the October/April special pricing to the regular year round prices and quickly jumped at the chance to get low cost blood, poop, and urine analyses. Imagine, it isn't even October yet!!! Check these folks out.... you won't be robbed or disappointed.

dear dr tyson, thank u so much for taking care of me. When I came in I was miserable. I chipped my canine and had bad tartar. I was in a lot of pain, had an infection, and loss of appetite. U gave me medicine to take care of the infection and cleaned my teeth. Now I'm back to my normal self - no more pain and I'm eatting again. My mom and dad thanks u too for taking care of me and for affordable services!

While my experience with Dr. Tyson has been positive I can't say that about all staff members. I took my dog in when he had a severe illness and was in miserable state. The doctor wouldn't see us until it was his appointment time, even though there were no other dogs in her care. It was frustrating to watch my pet suffer as the doctor filled out paperwork.

Update: A staff member from the clinic called to check up on my dog, on Dr. Tyson's behalf. They were very gracious and attentive. Their efforts are greatly appreciated.

When I learned Dr. Tyson was practicing in our area, I rushed to take our Stacy to her. I couldn't have been more pleased with her loving care of our dog. She was very professional, thorough, and kind. Stacy, who does not like most people, took to her immediately, even planting a lick or two on her! I would highly recommend Dr. Tyson to any person who cares about his/her pet. She runs a five-star facility!!

My dog and cat are not just my pets, they are my children. So, I only take them to Dr. Tyson for their medical/veterinary care. Why? Because Dr. Tyson always treats them with the compassion and care anyone would want and expect for his kids. Thank You Dr. Tyson for always being there for Ariel and Poelle!

Traveling very often to Switzerland, I purchased and brought to California two San Bernard puppies for my children. I tried finding a clinic in Pasadena, with the sophistication and attention to my animals as the European clinic where I purchased my puppies in Switzerland. Until I found Crown City Veterinary Clinic in Pasadena, California. My first impression of the staff and Dr. Tyson, was of a caring and family environment. Thanks to Dr. Tyson my pets are growing, very healthy and happy. My wife and I feel very fortunate to find a vet, who is caring and really loves animals, as does Dr. Tyson, she has always gone out of her way to make sure our animals are well taken care of when we bring them in. In our opinion there is not another veterinary clinic in Pasadena with the high technology and services as Crown City Veterinary Clinic. We are very lucky and 100% satisfy with the services and attentiveness this magnificent clinic has provided for our pets.

The other day I stopped by on a weekday with my 9.5 year old horse crazy grand daughter in tow to see if there might be a chance to introduce her to Crown City??s chief vet Melissa Tyson. Tyson I learned previously grew up with horses and rides whenever she can. The receptionist said she was winding up surgery and would tell her we were there. She came back and said if we could wait, the Dr. would see us. We said fine.

While we waited Heather played with kittens in a large cage in the lobby marked ??Free to a loving family.? She went upstairs to see the parrot and other birds on the 2nd floor. Clients came and went. An elderly man with an aged little dog came in. Both walked with difficulty. The receptionist got them in quickly and when they left, the gentlemen appeared as if he, and not just his dog had been given a new lease on life. An anxious mother and her grown daughter came out of an examining room with their dog in her arms. A vet spoke with them for several minutes in obviously reassuring terms. A tall man came in for a vaccination for an Australian sheep dog he said was rescued from the pound. He was in and out quickly and as he paid his bill he said to the receptionist that it was less than he had expected.

Soon we were escorted back to the surgery. There were cages around the room with recovering animals. They were large and clean and there was an assistant crouching at one of them with her hand on the head of a dog that had been through surger and she was talking to it. Dr. Tyson was busy filling out papers but she took time to ask Heather about her riding and to encourage her. I left with a glimmer of hope that some day, my grand daughter might be a vet like Tyson. My wife and I are in our 60's and have had cats much of our 43 years of married life. We now have five. Its very reassuring to have a vet you can talk to, whose facility you can inspect, and where its very clear the animals are treated humanely and respected as the family members they are.

We are faithful clients of Dr Tyson and her staff. Her personal attention and commitment to professional veterinary care, is above reproach. Dr. Tyson has spent time with us on the phone (on a Sunday) helping make decisions about our dying dog whom we had taken to an emergency hospital. That is priceless support!
We need caregivers such as Dr Tyson for our pets.

My dog, unlike me, likes going to the doctors office. He used to take it as a challenge to eat nuts and bolts and such things. As a result his intestines became blocked. Twice he went to Crown Valley for surgery. Dr Tyson did a great job. Dioji has outgrown his juvenile ways and is happy to visit Crown Valley when we leave town. Dioji is treated like a king and enjoys it.

I have a 2 year old Jack Russell Terrier who became very sick a few months ago. I had driven by this beautiful clinic several times and I decided to stop in. Dr. Tyson treated me and my dog very well. My dog had to stay overnight (first time he had been away from home!!). By the time I picked him up the next day he had perked up quite a bit. Dr. Tyson quickly made the correct diagnosis when other vets could not. My dog improved and we still go to the clinic to this day!!

What a fantastic pet center!!! If you haven't seen or been to this veterinary clinic, I would recommend it even if a commute is involved. It is spotless, and the staff is incredible! My dog had a difficult problem, and the staff immediately called the veterinarian in (Dr. Tyson) who had my pup on the way to normal so quickly. She was so knowledgeable! Thank You!

This clinic is something to be seen. It is nicer than my own doctor's office. The fees are reasonable, and the service we received is UNMATCHED! Thank you again!

My experience with Crown City Vet started when one of my four dogs was bit by a rattle snake. I grew up in Pasadena and had always taken my animals to Foothill Vet, but I hated the fact that they didn't make appointments and every time I went in I ended up waiting at least a half an hour to be seen, and never got to see the same vet. I had driven by Crown City a couple of times, but hadn't had the chance to make an appointment. When my dog was bitten I took her to an emergency clinic because it was a Sunday night. I had to have her taken to a vet to be observed after she was treated, but didn't have a regular vet to take her to, since I had just moved back to the area. I called Crown City at 8am Monday morning, and they brought her right in! All of the staff was very nice and accomodating. They treated my dog very well and answered all of my questions. I called in about every two hours to check on her and not once did they seem annoyed. Once I took her home they called to follow up and make sure that everything was going okay. Now I take all of my dogs there, and have never had any problems. I always get the best price possible, and they never suggest anything that isn't necessary. I am completely happy with this vet and my dogs love them too!

I have three dogs, 1 cat a bunny & a Guinea pig. All of my animals are healthy and happy because of the exceptional care given to them by Dr. Tyson and her staff. Dr. Tyson has never given me a bogus diagnosis. My first visit with my dogs, she immediately diagnosed an issue we had been dealing with for YEARS with two of our dogs. Both dogs had ear infections and oozed disgusting stuff from their ears. Every other vet we had been to ran a plethora of tests and treated the symptoms at an arm & a leg price each visit, several times a year. They were five years old when we saw Dr. Tyson the first time. Our very first visit Dr. Tyson looked them over and immediately diagnosed food allergies. Within one month the dogs ears were perfect and they were healthy like they had never been. If what the "Anonymous" posters are saying was true, I could have easily been taken advantage of in this situation. I was fully prepared and expecting to pay for tests, medicine and procedures. I walked out of there only having paid the cost of a check up. And my pets have never been healthier!! Dr. Tyson is great!!

Wow... what an amazing facility and Veterinarian. Dr Tyson is energetic, compassionate and knowledgeable. I have Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine and experience as a vet tech (before deciding to be a stay at home mom) and I understand the workings of vet hospitals. I have never been happier with the service and personal attention that my pets receive at Crown City Vet. My dogs have had routine dentals, vaccinations, check-ups and bathing services at the clinic. Last month we had to make the hard decision to euthanize our cat. Dr Tysons' empathy and caring to my entire family was so heartfelt and sincere. I highly recommend Crown City Vet to all my friend with pets. Perhaps the negative Anonymous posts on this website should realize that Veterinary medicine does rely heavily on blood work, skin scrapes and lab work. Fortunately the state of the art facility has many of the services available on-site. I stand behind my words and stand behind Dr. Tyson and her staff. Thanks to them all of my pets are healthy and happy!

This clinic is friendly and they helped my dog very much. I have respect for any clinic who will not allow anyone to just purchase medication via Internet- (that's not a pharmacist).

These people are knowledgeable and reliable and I will continue to bring my dog back. They have accurately and effectively diagnosed and treated my dog every time. All in all a great veterinary clinic. I have told my friends and they would all agree.

Do not be seduced by the superficial appeal of Dr. Tyson's charming personality. She has proved to be uncaring, incompetent and unethical. I am much happier since I took my dogs to the vets at Foothill Veterinary hospital, where the vets will return my phone calls, personally explain lab results, and thoroughly discuss proposed treatment options. Tellingly, since I have been taking my dogs to Foothill, the costly "diseases" previously diagnosed by Dr. Tyson, have magically disappeared. My dogs are doing great without expensive unnecessary medication, and no longer suffer the side effects of being over-medicated for no good reason other than to enrich Dr. Tyson. I should have guessed that something was amiss at Crown City, when I requested a prescription for the expensive medicine prescribed by Dr. Tyson so that I could have it filled at a discount pet pharmacy. My request was declined by Dr. Tyson with the words: "we don't do this here." Perhaps Dr. Tyson needs to review the veterinarian's code of ethics that requires her to give her patients the option of having prescriptions filled at a pharmacy of their choice. Good riddance!

Business Response:

Diagnostics don't lie Mr. Ciccolo, I was saddened to read your review. I have always opened the clinic after hours for you and we have discussed diseases and treatments at length together. Veterinarians have different opinions and different approaches to medicine. I do not support 1800PETMEDS. They are not a pharmacy and rely on my license to dispense medications at low cost. I have had animals seriously hurt by this kind of dispensing and vowed not to participate again. Your dogs records were reviewed by board certified veterinarians and they came to the same diagnoses. I am glad to hear that they are no longer in need of medical therapy. I have always been willing to work with a client when cost is the limiting factor for treatment of their pet. I am glad to hear that Foothill fulfills all of your needs. Sincerely, Dr. Tyson

We discovered Crown City Vet accidently when our neighbor and his dog were attacked by dogs, our neighbor had to seek medical attention and asked if we would see that his dog also gets to a vet. Well, a great police officer who takes his pets to Crown City took us w/ lights and sirens to see Dr. Tyson. She greeted us w/ love and care! Being new to Altadena we needed a vet for our pets.... there she was! Dr. Tyson and staff have been incredible... we had a great lab who was having alot of medical issues.. one horrible night of being up w/ our sick lab.. Dr. Tyson met us at 7 a.m. and took time and effort to find he had a tumor that was hard to see! All said and done we put him down and she was soo great to us and him! While we were by his side she offered us a chocolate lab that was rescued and given to her to care for!! We now have MANCHESTER UNITED! We love him and feel we lost a loving dog and another life was given to us to care for!! He is a perfect additive to our family and she knew we would love him and he would love us!! We can't thank Dr. Tyson enough!!! She's the best and I also see her family members next door!!

I have been to a couple of Vets and I have to say that my experience with Crown City and Dr. Tyson has been the best. I have a dog, cat and two horses that are all seen by Crown City and the care that is taken is the best I have had. When I call in I actually get to talk to the Doctor and if she is in with a client then she calls me back. I like the personal touch given. I always leave feeling that my animals couldn't have been taken care of better anywhere else.

I have been having an issue for over three years trying to find a competent veterinarian. I had taken my new kitten in dire states to my highly-rated veterinarian in the valley. They gave him IV fluids and said he was just not feeling well. My instincts told me that was not the case, but I had no time to argue due to the fact that I had an important engagement in Northern California. I decided to make the drive with my cat. He seemed to improve with the fluids and my worries began to fade. That was short-lived?within 48 hours he began vomiting again and passed out open-mouth breathing. We rushed him to an emergency hospital and the doctors there gave me a $3000.00 bill and said it looked like FIP. They said there was not much else they could do and that I should consider euthanasia. Again, my gut kicked in and that did not seem right either. I felt the truth was somewhere in the middle. Not to my surprise (but to theirs), my cat seemed to recover almost completely in 12 hours. I took him home and back down to my other vet. We had him on amoxi-drops and I knew then we needed to start looking for a better vet. That was when we found Dr. Tyson who diagnosed my kitten with pneumonia and severe dehydration. The two together caused my kitten to collapse. Dr. Tyson put him on a better antibiotic and treated him for a severe case of worms (the first to realize he had it.) Now he is happy and growing strong. If it were not for doctor Tyson??s expertise I am not sure if my cat would have survived.

We had a very sick cat a few years ago. A local vet from a vaccination clinic treated her as best she could but the cat relapsed several times. In desperation we took her to a hospital staffed with faculty and residents from a local vet school. $1500 dollars later (!), Zoe was no better off. A friend told us of a vet she said was very smart. Her name was Dr. Melissa Tyson. We took Zoe to her. She kept the cat overnight to do some tests. Her diagnosis that the cat's liver was not functioning was different from the high priced professor vets, yet the description she gave of the course of Zoe's symptoms over the previous months was right on the mark. My wife, a tough minded business executive, burst into tears. Dr. Tyson hugged her for a long time until she calmed down. She nodded yes when I asked to put the cat down and refused additional payment for that service. A few days afterwards she sent a heart felt card. Months later we were invited to a party to celebrate the opening of Crown City Veterinary Clinic in Pasadena. It??s a neat place with a large waiting area open to the ouside light. A parrot and two friendly cats greet visitors. We are now retired with several pets. The vet has a special program for seniors and multi animal families so you don't have go broke caring for them.

I brought in my sick doberman and was profoundly impressed by the facility and the staff. The verteranarian was knoledgable, wise and has quite a way with animals. She cured my doberman's issues and gave me sound advice about how to better care for her. She informed me of pitfalls and advice to keep her healthy for life. I drive all the way from West LA to take her there. They are professional and warm. I couldn't be more pleased!

I took my dog to two out of three highly rated clinics from this site and was sadlly dissappointed to be sent home with a terminal diagnosis of renal failure of unknown origin from both establishments. A friend suggested that I take Sadie to Dr. Tyson at Crown City Vet Med. I was greeted by friendly people and found a waiting room full of different species and content pet owners. After my preliminary exam with the technical staff, Dr. Tyson greeted Sadie and I. She listened to my concerns and then reviewed the chart that I travel with. She explained that she intends on following a protocol that she applys to all clients and that I might have a bit of a wait due to the nature of Sadie's problems. Dr. Tyson has been the only veterinarian to thoroughly examine my pet, her bloodwork, and history. After a couple of tests and a long conversation of possible disease processes, Dr. Tyson diagnosed Sadie in three days. Since the correct diagnosis, her injections have almost corrected the renal problem and she is getting back to her old self. I found it hard to believe that an eight year old dog would have no hope or quality of life left due to kidney damage... but inspite of the accurate diagnosis, Dr. Tyson offered me additional supportive therapies that would have allowed for us to be together for a little longer. To my surprise she hopefully will be around for the natural length of her life. I am writing this review in order to emphasize to others that the internet can be misleading. I believed what others had written and steered away from Crown City... what a mistake I made that almost cost me my dog's life. I think that the negative reviews were made from hasty attempts at bandaiding an animal's sickness in order to save money and time. I really love and appreciate my friends/ pets. I think that Dr. Tyson also loves and appreciates pets. If you don't believe me then just go in and ask any of the staff what kind of creatures share their lives with them. You will be amazed at the managerie of friends that Dr. Tyson has around her at all times, and the staff shares the same interest. I would be without my dearest friend if it were not for Dr. Melissa Tyson. Dr. T, I wish there were more than four of you!!

In the past four years that Dr. Tyson has treated mt pets I've never had her not remember her recommendations made. I also know Dr. Tyson is an outstanding veterinarian, and I find it hard to believe that she would recommend a client to buy over the counter medications (Like the anonymous review states) for a true disease.Within the past four years I have seen changes in her staff as well, but i think it has always been for the better of the clinic. On my behalf I have never had any complaints. Dr. Tyson has commented on how pleasent it is to help animals that have compliant owners.

I trust my animals to the care of Dr Tyson for several reasons. They have a great staff , they go out of there way to answer all my questions about my animals. My dog was not eating acting tired and had skin legions. When I called to make an appointment they were very prompt to find the earliest available time for me to see Dr Tyson. When I got to the clinic new my dog would get the best care possible, The facility I breath taking I wish my doctors office was this nice. Their friendly staff greated me with a nice smile, within minutes me and Toby (my dog) where called to the room. Dr. Tyson was a breath of fresh air , she saw my concern for Toby's health and told me not to worry, They ran some tests and found parasites on him, she explained that they were the reason for all his problems. Not only that we figure that his diet was needed modifying and she recommended a presciption diet. Toby doesn't like to get shots but the vet tec there was extremely proficient at applying the shot and he didn't even feel it, he even gave Toby a treat. A few medications and easy to understand instructions were given to me. I folowed the instructions and today Toby is better than ever , His appetite is back he has plenty of energy and his skin legions cleared up. Thanks to Dr Tyson my Toby is healthy again, I recommend her to all the pet owners I know.

Just wanted to let people know what a terrific Doctor Dr.Tyson is. She and her staff have been extremely helpful to myself and my Labrador. He's my third lab and second that's been treated by Dr.Tyson.

The vets I've had in the past were good, but also were something of a huge rip-off. Some clients made be frustrated at times, but just know Dr.Tyson's reputation for caring, professional services puts her and her staff in high demand. Everyone who works there, works very hard to serve us......pet owners.

Just a Thought!

to have found Dr. Tyson!!!! I wasn't referred, but found her Medical Group to be the closest for a 2nd opinion and 2nd estimate of fees for dental surgery for my dog on the Internet. I was given an appointment within 2 days, was VERY impressed with Dr. Tyson--caring, friendly, courteous . . . She explained what needed to be done MUCH better than the 1st opinion . . . and what REALLY blew me away--her FINAL cost was $200 LESS than the LOWEST estimate range of the 1st vet!!!! Go figure!!! Well . . . I have 3 other dogs and 2 cats and where do you think I'm going to have their records transferred!?

to have found Dr. Tyson!!!! I wasn't referred, but found her Medical Group to be the closest for a 2nd opinion and 2nd estimate of fees for dental surgery for my dog on the Internet. I just want everyone in pasadena to know how pleased I am w/crown city veterinary medical group. I ended up going there because little did I know that my dog was sick behind the tainted food that had been recalled by IAMS and the other foods and well I had originally had taken my dog to a vet out here in covina (BIG MISTAKE) because the doctor out here in covina told me that my dog was fine and just give her baby food and chicken and rice and she will be fine well she wasn't I remember seeing Dr. Tyson on (Judge Joe Brown), Well I still felt something was wrong w/my dog and I remembered calling Dr.Tyson's office and asked that Dr. Tyson please call me well she wasnt able to but I was told by one of her caring staff members to bring my dog in the next day and I did well not long after being called into the examing room Dr Tyson showed up and told me that my dog wasnt good but she would take care of her and I am glad I took my dog to see Dr Tyson because had I not my dog may have died and Dr Tyson was nice enough to give my dog medicine that made her better I would recommend everyone to go see Dr. Tyson @ Crown City Veterinary Medical Group she's wonderful from now on my dog goes to Dr Tyson.

I've only been with Crown City VMG for about three months, but in that time one of my dogs has suffered two major incidents - a broken jaw and a diagnosis of cancer. Dr. Tyson did a wonderful job with the broken jaw. My dog (almost 13 years old) was eating within three days and came home in five days. She has now been diagnosed with cancer, and I know that Dr. Tyson will help me made the right decisions.

The staff is very professional and very friendly. They know who I am, they know my dog's name, and they care about the animals.

I am so glad that I found the Crown City Veterinary Medical Group.

I took my cat to Crown City Veterinary for the basic check up and to have her teeth checked. They were extremely accomodating when making the appointment time and once we saw the doctor and staff, we knew we where in good hands. My cat needed her teeth cleaned and they provided excellent care for her and it made marked improvement for my cat as well.
