Do not go to the ft worth perinatal and associates! They are absolutely horrendous in their treatment of patients, they will make u at some point of your gazillion appointments feel as if you are nothing, give u negative after negative, treat you like a little ignorant child getting picked on. Dr Reyes is a b times 10, I wish her nothing but bad things, she is short, blunt, and just plain rude to her patients, I finally told her off on my last appointment that her demeaning tone is unacceptable as a practitioner, she has no compassion with her patients, I don't recommend going to her and if you do stay please tell her off for me and give her a good kick in the ass! What a rat faced old hag for making pregnant women cry their eyes out and have zero compassion, give zero positive outlook,

I'll start off with the positives. Their office is extremely clean and welcoming. The office staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The sonographers, nurses, and medical assistants are knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient.

I would, however, recommend that you seek care elsewhere. The wait times are ridiculous. The minimum wait time for me was 45 minutes. At all of my other visits I waited much longer.

I am uncertain about the other physicians in the practice, but Dr. Reyes has TERRIBLE bed side manner. She's cold and does not seem to care about her patients. Many times I left her office in tears only to share the same news with my regular OB and have her reassure me that the problems were absolutely normal and not life-threatening to myself or the baby. One particular instance, my baby's heart-rate was being monitored she came in the room told me the baby's rate was dropping and that I needed to go the hospital. She said that she would send me to my normal hospital, but since I was pre-term they would have to send me back to Baylor to deliver anyway. She also stated that after a couple more hours of monitoring they would decide if they would deliver my baby or not. Being 8 weeks early, naturally I freaked out and was extremely fearful for the life of my baby. Once I got to the hospital the nurse informed me that this type of heart rhythm occurs quite often some times for no other reason than the way the baby is sitting. It turned out to be just that. Dr. Reyes could have been much more reassuring and explained that this was most likely not a life threatening situation.

After about my 30th (no exaggeration) visit with Dr. Reyes she came into my room and said "Hello...., my name is Dr. Reyes" As if we had never met before.

She clearly has no regard for her patients feelings. She would have made a better coroner than perinatal physician.

For the record my baby is perfectly healthy, thanks to my regular OB who is not affiliated with this office.

The care from the doctors, nurses and sonographers at Perinatal Associates is ok. That being said....you can expect to wait AT LEAST 1.5 hours to get in if you're lucky. You can have your appointment in the am, but still have to wait. You can tell they are only in it for the money because of the way they over-schedule. If an appointment is going to be 45 minutes don't schedule it for 15 minutes! Common sense! They expect you to be early/on time but THEY can't get you in on time. EVER! I have been there through 3 pregnancies and they have NEVER been on time, not even once. I called to tell them I would be a couple of minutes late once and they made me re-schedule! For 5 minutes late! Another time they gave my sonogram dvd to ANOTHER patient! It had my name, DOB and ss# on it. Now I am having to monitor my credit report for identity theft!

If there were another perinatalist near me I would not be going to these money-hungry half-wits.

My wife and I were sent to Dr Reyes for pregnancy complications and to set up a painful and traumatic procedure. She visited with us and told us everything was great and no "procedure" needed. We were so happy we left on cloud 9! About 2 hours later she called us back and said her diagnoses had changed because she "did not read all of B****'s history". She said she did know about the complications. So we DO have to go through the procedure. I asked how on earth she missed the most basic information on my wifes history and she simply said she didnt have time to read the whole thing! So this Dr gave us false advise and hope without even knowing the main reason we were sent there??!! And she was rude.

I was referred to them for a second opinion and definite diagnosis. When we found out that my baby wouldn't make it they helped me through the darkest time in my life and were the most compassionate people (Dr. Reyes & Dr. Papa and all their staff). When I got pregnant with my subsequent pregnancy they were there for me again during the scariest time in my life but this time even though I had tests that showed something could be wrong they were there to help me through it and we had all the people in place when I delivered but this time the room wasn't silent when I delivered, my baby was crying and he was HEALTHY! I'm thankful to both of these women for my life and sanity. I was turned away from my OB's partner, but they stepped up for me! I would recommend EVERYONE to them. Even though my first baby was sick and is in heaven now, I know they would have done anything they could if it was possible to save him.

Dr. Reyes was my specialist theu two pregnancies. I have a seizure disorder and my medications increase the risks of Spina Bifida.

Peyton did test positive for Spina Bifida. Dr. Reyes took very good care of us. She was kind and gentle and did care about us and the baby.

Peyton was born early but was healthy and happy. The genetic counselors tested me twice and I went to a third on my own.

Sometimes it is out of the doctor's hands what test show. I am sure everyone has their own miracle stories.

My condolences to the women who lost your children. I could never imagine what you went through.

I would recommend Dr. Reyes based on my experience.

I believe that Dr. Reyes and Dr. Papa did everything they could to help support my pregnancy. Unfortunately, our babies did not make it. I believe they did everything in their power to try to save our babies. The fact of the matter is that carrying multiples is difficult and dangerous. While I want to blame someone or something, I have never felt once that they were to blame in anyway. The nurses, staff, and the doctors were so caring and cared for my husband and me after our loss. Their bedside manner is superb. They will be my doctors for all future pregnancies.

I am so shocked to see the other review of the perinatal associates! Possibly because my child came out healthy, I have a different perspective but I loved going to dr. reyes and papa. I got in and out quickly and they were very thorough with me. I have Factor V Leiden and they seemed very on top of things.

I do have to say to the other people who took the time to review and wanted to say Im so sorry for your losses. I would feel the same way. I cant believe one of you is being billed...even after your child's death! That is why I took a star off the rating.

Because of a missed diagnosis, we almost terminated. Dr. Reyes gave our baby a 5% chance of living, if we even made it to term. We, luckily, got a second opinion and have an almost perfect son with Spina Bifida. Dr. Reyes' needs to read this and get a job where she can't continue to kill children!!!

My wife was pregnant with twins and due to Dr. Reyes' misdiagnosis and neglect, our babies died. Dr. Reyes cares only about money and nothing about her patients. How do I know? Because SHE STILL SENDS US BILLS FOR OUR DEAD BABIES! How would you feel if that happened to you? The law in Texas protects doctors from being sued for malpractice, and Reyes and Papa know this. I know of several other cases where these two doctors have just allowed babies to die when something could have been done. There are other perinatologists in the DFW area. Go to ANY of them but you owe it to your baby or babies to STAY AWAY from these two!

I was referred to this office by my OB because of a high risk pregnancy. Dr Papa's and staff were outstanding. They made me feel very comfortable and at ease.
