SB Chocolate is great if you love dark chocolate. They carry a few low sugar types, a perfect alternative to commercial choc. They give free tours, it's amazing how little room you need to make this stuff. Just be careful not to take home *too* much chocolate. It could be easy

We referred all the guests for our June 2005 wedding in Berkeley to Sharffen Berger for their excellent tour. They all loved it! I think the most raved over item was the dark chocolate covered ginger, while my husbands favorite is the mint chocolate. My favorite is their drinking chocolate, with peppermint wipped cream....yum!

Scharffen Berger chocolates are high end chocolates, with a focus on dark, high cacoa count chocolate. What's great about their factory store in Berkeley is that you can actually tour the facility where they make the chocolate, for free! You can reserve one hour tours ahead of time, and then afterwards stop off at their gift shop to take some chocolate home!
