We love this museum! They always have excellent exhibits. We have small children and they constantly have activities and exhibits for them to go and see and to participate in.

I think that they have some great exibits come through, but the museum is not that big and can't hold a lot. I do enjoy the differnt shows though and think more people ought to visit art museums to experience what is out there.

The BYU Museum of Art is perfect for any visit, whether you plan to delve deep into 150 years of American painting at their permanent exhibit, or just want a quick run through one of their visiting shows. Entry is free, and the museum is small, so it's great for a quick browse (between classes if you're a student) but not so small that you ever feel like you have seen everything, because the BYU Museum of Art is constantly changing exhibits and otherwise updating itself.
If possibly, try to make it there during lunch so you can treat yourself to a bite to eat at the MOA cafe. Tasty, trendy food at an affordable price. Also, don't miss out on the museum gift shop which is always good for a decent poke around.

The BYU Museum of Art houses some amazing exhibits year-round. Not only does it present work by the students, it also has world-reknowned exhibits fairly frequently. It is usually not crowed and offers free storytelling on Monday evenings. The BYU Musuem of Art is located on BYU Campus right next to visitor parking. If you get there on a crowed day, parking might be hard to find due to concerts and events in the nearby Harris Fine Arts Center. It is very well kept and clean place to visit. I highly recommend checking out this museum.

Im no big art buff, but I had a good time walking through and looking at everything here. They had a really fun world history exhibit when I went through, and you can beat the price.

The museum of art has many gorgeuos paintings and gives you a no stress place to go for a date. It gives you a lot to talk about and is very enjoyable. They have great special features often and those can get pricey, but they give you a discount if you are a student. AND, sometimes you get extra credit in some classes when ou visit it. It is a nice place to go.

The BYU Museum of Art is a great place to visit on a Saturday with the family or just stroll through by your self. Most of the museum is free, although donations are accepted. The Museum of Art has several rotating exhibits, and two or three times a year they have traveling exhibits (which sometimes costs a nominal fee). As you would expect from a Church-run Museum, a good portion of the art deals with a religious theme, but there is many beautiful works from many different genre's and mediums.

PROS: Mostly free, and easlily accesable
CONS: Sometimes parking can be hard to come by.
