This dealership does not hold true to quotes given. I used a car buying service through my bank so I can get the best price possible on a 2015 WRX STI. I was told to contact the dealer for pricing. I have an email string showing the conversation between myself and the dealership. I even had conversations with them in which I was told 2 STI's were in route, 1 blue limited and 1 silver. I was not interested in paying for a limited and liked the silver. I was quoted on the phone for 32700.00 and via email. This being a great deal, I proceeded to the dealership the next day to make a deal. We were able to agree on terms. I was buying a silver WRX STI for 32700.00 The price listed was 36257.00. I left them the down payment and as I was getting ready to verify the car I was buying. As I went to meet another sales person, he told me this was not going to happen and there was a mistake on the quote given to me. I find this disturbing as we sat for an hour trying to negotiate numbers with an agreement and a transfer of money for the down payment. Apparently there are issues at this dealership.
Clearly the email states what I was interested in and what the price was. I was even approved through Subaru Finance up to a certain amount on a WRX STI.
I highly recommend to work with other dealers in the area. Don't waste your time here. Bait and Switch- they will do what it takes to get you in. They will quote you a price and then try to sell you the same car at a higher price. I also noted that after checking the website, they have no WRX's for sale at the price of 32700.00. As of today 11/05/2014, 2 wrx's at 27,739. and 2 STI's 36,257 and 40,358.

Jessica and Amir were awesome! NC didn't have a 2014 Crosstrek with the features I wanted in the color I preferred. Jessica and Amir provided a terrific price and inspired tconfidence that I wouldn't get a switcheroo after driving 3 hours to get there. Both were available for questions by text and found a workable solution for any challenge. Amir was very helpful when the carfax report incorrectly listed a kid on a bicycle that ran into our car as a wreck (it was a police report not an insurance claim.)

The poor professionalism of the Casey Auto Group is due to the incompetent staff. The higher ups sit in their comfy cozy offices and haven't a clue what goes on in their individual dealer offices. The management crews of each dealership have no idea how to treat their staff with dignity and respect, so how can the Casey brothers expect their employees to treat the public with dignity and respect. I think the Casey boys and their sidekicks need to go to each dealership and spend a week their observin their managers and staff. They would see just how the trickle down factor works. Managers need to attend a few workshops. And then the employees would treat us customers like we are human beings! If the customers stop coming in, the dealers lose business, which means less money, less staff, less sales and before you know it, the Casey brothers are getting food stamps and unemployment checks also.

this has been a nightmare. newport News VA Casey Volkswagen is the bigest POS and most shady place and group of employees I have ever seen.

First of story lets start with my dome light button being replaced- 0930 drove in perfectly fine no problems ever --->
630 pm I drive of the lot and down the road it wont shift out of first unless I am in sport mode--->
Next day I take it there asking what they did to my car --->
they respond with we didnt do anything with the shifter, but we will take a look and get it fixed, dont worry it will be covered by the drivetrain warranty( after that I filed a complaint because the way the trated me)---->
later that day they call me and say we found the problem its the shifter switch and we ordered it and it is covered under waranty part will be here friday.------>
friday morning I get a call saying umm umm we have the part , but it's not covered by warranty-->
I say well how does the story change? -->
then they confronted me about my previous complaint I made with VW care center then I said--->
what does someone not know anything about anything over there?! Let me ask my extended warranty if they cover it--->
calls back 45 mins later No Problem , your extended warranty will cover it , your car should be done around 5pm ( I called customer care center and complained again)--->
I get a call at 5 pm with them putting me on speaker phone with their manager telling me that its not the switch and they had to order anothe rpart and wont be here til next weds.-->
then they all confronted me about complaining to customer care center, and then they threatened " if you want, we can call your extended warranty company and have their inspector come see all the debree and sticky juice that was in the shifter and explain to them that is why the car is broke and then I will have to pay 1100$"--->
so I said ok no don't do that fix my car I am sorry --->
I called my extended warranty and had them tell me exactly what they said and they have the VW dealership recorded saying there i sno debree or anything external that would have caused the car to break" ------>
my warranty plan team says dont worry everything is recorded and know we are watching them, and they cant undo the claim once its placed. Tat being said -----> Casey VW of NewPort News VA is the WORST and most SHADY dealership I have ever seen in my life. DO Not Ever go there or recommend anyone spending a dime with them.

so My car wont be ready until next weds... then lets see what other shady lies they can ponder. kind of scary they have a whole week to think about it.

so does anyone else got any ideas what could have went wrong lol?

We purchased a great car from Casey and liked the salesman very much. We continue to get the car serviced at Casey and they do a satisfactory job, but often do not have the parts in stock which results in a follow up visit. However, we have found the support staff to be very unprofessional and coupled with a misleading rebate program, they have lost our business. We will never purchase another vehicle from them and once the manufactures service agreement ends we well terminate all business with Casey.

They made a lot of big promises on the phone: Well give you $3,000 off of any model we have and give you what you want for your trade-in. When we got there, we found out it was all lies. The $3,000 was only for one type of vehicle, and they offered us less than anyone else on our trade-in.
