Imagine finding a tourist ride here. The train ride is nice, but don't expect it to be spectacular. The people in Salt Lake call it the Heber Creeper.

The Heber Creeper is a fun family outing. We went when the leaves were changing in the fall and it was just beautiful. Some tips for those traveling with small children. Bring your own food!!! The lines for food were long!! It is a bit on the expensive side so look for discount coupons. Fun to do every 2-3 years.

PROS: Something fun and different!
CONS: Expensive.

I took a ride on this historic railroad as a college student. It was a dance onboard the train and although it was fun and different, what really bothered me was that it was sooo cold! There wasn't any kind of heater on board or anything so while we were all dressed up pretty, we had to keep bundled up to stay warm. Dancing onboard the train was also interesting because the train is old so it was jolty. Fun times and memories though.
