5 Stars: These guys are great! (by bhrigid)

My first time at Tom Dwyer on recommendation of a friend proved very positive. They were very helpful on the phone, timely with my oil change and suggested a maintenance schedule that I could live with. They helped me prioritize repairs that needed to be done for safety reasons and did not try to sell me work that was unnecessary. As a woman, I felt respected and secure knowing that they would look after my car and keep her running for another 140k!

5 Stars: I'll be a customer for a very long time! (by blacklab08)

The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Many Eco-friendly products and services are promoted, which makes them a wise choice. I brought by car in for an inspection and oil change and was pleasantly surprised by all facets of their facility and staff.

5 Stars: Tom Dwyer Does Things Right. (by StaheliPizzutillo)

These guys are honest, forthright, and very good at their jobs. They do good work the first time, and they back up all the products and workmanship.

If all mechanics acted like the crew at Tom Dwyer, there would be no bad jokes about dishonest mechanics. I recommend Tom Dwyer to everyone I know. It's the right thing to do.

5 Stars: Appropriate and Honest (by Mary R.)

I've been going to Tom Dwyer Automotive for nearly ten years. Have found their work sound, ethics high and advice inclusive of what to put off for later. I've paid less and gotten less. Tom Dwyer Automotive is fair, solid and inexpensive when taking the life of my car and my sanity into consideration ;)

5 Stars: Integrity and Care (by pdxsp)

In the interest of full disclosure, I used to work at Tom Dwyer Automotive. That said, if I weren't an automotive technician, and had a vehicle that needed repairs, I would not hesitate to bring it to Tom Dwyer. The service writers at the front treat every client with great care, and explain things in detail. The shops rating on comment cards is consistantly high. The crew all strive for the high standards that Tom himself strives for. The bottom line is that your car will get fixed and it will be fair. Granted, as in life, some repairs are impossible to predict until you've gotten into them. But even if something does come up, you won't feel like you are being scammed or taken advantage of. Check their website for actual comments. There are shops in town which don't charge as much, but they also don't know as much, and so you end up paying more. Better to avoid the cheap doctors and stay with the specialists. I still recommend Dwyer automotive to people I meet, if the topic comes up. You can even email Tom Himself from the website and ask him questions. I believe you will be happy with this shop.

4 Stars: Good Service (by Mariah O.)

Tom Dwyer Automotive does really great work. They don't try to convince you to have work done that you don't need and they actually have your car back to you when they say they will. They are really nice and very professional. They'll even give you a ride home when you drop off your car and pick you up when it's done. Which is really nice if you can't arrange to have someone go with you.
