An excellent place to get a cake. They are world class. We have been going here for years.
Every cake we have purchased has always been excellent quality and fresh ingredients.
I'll be back :)
5Aki's bakery has been around longer than I can remember. My grandmother remembered all the wedding cakes that she had seen from Aki's and had the pleasure of eating.
Their cakes are second to none.
One of our favorite places to get cakes. Fabulously fresh and excellent. These cakes are always the hit of the party in our house.
Love em :) did I say that enough yet?
5Aki's is one of the best bakeries around. Their cakes are very light. As mentioned in other reviews, the guava cake is de-lish! The service is really good and through all the years we've been buying cakes there (from wedding cakes to birthday cakes) we've never had a single mistake.
PROS: Great, light cakes and pastries
CONS: don't have the gooey, chocolate, gourmet style cakes/desserts

Every potluck at work has a cake from Aki's bakery. They make these great light cakes that aren't too sweet. They also like to use different fruits like guava or mango. It reminds me of the cakes I used to get from Hawaii. Just light and good with the cake being the star and no the frosting. Most cakes are reasonably priced, but the store is very small, so go early if you want to get a cake.

Their cakes taste really good with "just right" sweetness. The pricing are really reasonable compare to other bakery, a cake that serve up to 7 to 8 people is about $15. They have many choices and many sizes to choose from. I have ordered twice from them for my daughter birthday cakes because they have all the cartoon characters to choose from, examples Mickey Mouse, Sesame Street....etc. They have many regulars so if you want to cut down the waiting time, it is better to call to order the cake in advance.

Akis Bakery has a small store but they have many wonderful baked goods to choose from like cookies and pastries. My personal favorite is the Guava Delight which is a chiffon cake. It is superbly light and not too sweet. The Mango Delight is also delicious. The cakes are beautifully decorated too. The bakery does get crowded quite a bit though and theyre not open on Sundays and Mondays.

Aki's bakery is one of my favorites. I always order a guava cake. It's a very light cake and made just like they do in Hawaii. They also do nice birthday cakes. I've ordered several for my children and they always come out just like you imagined they would. Very professional. The bakery is small, and parking limited, though I've always somehow managed to find a space. If you're looking for a guava cake, order ahead or get there early. They often sell out of them.

Their cakes taste really good and their price are really reasonable. But if you like cakes which taste very sweet, Aki's is not for you. Their cake is light and not too sweet, at least just right for me. They have many unique cake flavors and Guave Delight is their signature cake. Call to order to avoid waiting, they have many regular customers.

I'm from Hawaii and am always on the look out for a taste of my "local" food. This is the best source for guava chiffon cake hands down! It has a very small storefront w/limited parking. I somehow manage to find a parking spot though. It's best to get there early in the day as they sometimes sell out of the cake if you don't order ahead. Very light and tasty! Just like they make it in Hawaii! Oh how I miss the food from home! Too bad they don't do haupia cake too. Oh well. Can't have everything.
