This is a perfect date idea. Forget the movies and go ice skating. Check the times of when they have open skate sessions though. The ice rink is well kept.

This is a great rink for figure skaters. There are some top notch coaches and they have a decent amount of free-styles. I think the pro shop was a good seelction of apparel and if they don't have your size, typically, Mary can order it. Also, Brian is great with sharpening figure skates.

I've played here off and on for several years now. It's a good place to play ice hockey, especially if you're unable or unwilling to drive to El Segundo or Santa Clarita to play. Those rinks are much nicer overall but Pickwick has cheaper rates and is much closer for many of us in the Valley area. It's not in the best of neighborhoods though, so make sure to lock your car if you're there at night.

We love going here! Rent your skate, bring your own, take lessons or skate with a group. Everything you need is here. There is small store with skating clothes and accessories, snack bar that is enclosed from the rink, lockers, bleachers for onlookers, lessons, hockey or just stop by to see professionals practice. The rink is kept very clean and everyone is professional. Lots of different time slots for public skating as well, lots of parking in the back of the rink.

PROS: Clean, low prices, variety of events, great for parties
CONS: None
