This IS the Buggy Ride of choice while in the Amish Country region!
It is owned and operated BY the Amish and Plain people and is a family business. Its located in the Plain and Fancy Farm right on Rt 340. Look for the covered bridge near the road and that's it!
There are 4 different routes available and they have the classic horse and buggys and larger horse-drawn open carraiges to accomadate larger families/groups.
In the winter, when there's enough snow-you can even take a horsedrawn sleigh ride!!

The drivers are so friendly and informative and you may even get Jessica herself, as we did on our very first time there!
Here's a little bit of a tidbit of info-Aaron, is not a person, but was Jessica's first horse when she started this business many years ago now! She started this business herself with one horse and buggy and it has grown to the largest and most popular buggy ride in Lancaster County!

If you take a ride in one of the buggy's and see a little dream catcher hanging from the rearview mirror, I made it and gave it to Jessica on a return trip because we so enjoyed our ride with her and I had noticed she had lots of things hanging from her rearview mirror! lol There are actually 2 of their buggies with my dream catchers hanging on the mirrors, because I also gifted one to the driver we had that next time, who was a delighful young lady named Sarah.

The ride is just so scenic and relaxing. You even ride through 2 NON-Commercial, ACTUAL working Amish farms!! (please remember the no picture taking rule of the Amish/Mennonites themselves)
The rates aren't bad, but check all the local tour booklets, like AmishCountryNews, as they always have $ or % off coupons! There is also a discount coupon at the website! And no, the website is not run by them-they have no computers! lol

But this is a must-do, especially if its your first time to Amish Country!

PROS: Scenic, relaxing ride, friendly & informative drivers(Amish/Brethren/Menno)
CONS: None!
