I'm not sure why anyone would want to spend much longer than an hour in this museum. We were stranded accidently and had nothing else to do; it has knick knacks relating to marijuana use. There's a bit of historical information, but it's on such a dull topic that it's hard to captivate the audience. I suppose it was better than doing nothing, and a means of killing time, but there are so many better exhibits. Don't plan a specific trip around it.

For someone who isn't drug savvy, like myself, this explores the history and controversy of marijuana, from its medicinal uses to recreational uses and its role in the 70s. I had no idea how much equipment there could be for merely doing drugs, but I was surprised by all of this. It's unique, but I guess you can do an internet search and get the same information, which is why I only give it three stars.

This museum is a bit controversial because its theme is marijuana! America has museums geared towards everything under the sun - Lucille Ball, Albert Einstein - why not a recreational drug? It has devices that are used for smoking pot (rolling paper, bongs, hash pipes, etc.). It's a rather small museum, but has thousands of photographs and a selection of drugs to view. It talks about the history of drugs (what the purposes were originally, its history), and its widespread abuse. I didn't really like it, and didn't feel too comfortable around all the marijuana-related devices, but I guess it'd be interesting if you're interested in that.
