Janbo

When Janbo first opened on the west side of Evanvsville it was a very good establishment. Quality food, great buffet, helpful and freindly staff. Pretty much all the things listed in the other review.

That has changed. Janbo now charges a premium price ($10-15.00 for 1 meal takeout ?!) for sub-par food. IF you are lucky enough to get some veggies with your b-grade meat they taste terrible. Sauces taste terrible. The fried breading is stringy and soggy. The rice physically smells like it was boiled in sewer water.

If you like good chinese takeout pass on Janbo. Spend an extra few dollars in gas money and go someplace better.

If you are in the mood for Chinese and want a superb buffet, try Janbo. This is one of my favorite places to go. They have a large, reasonably priced Chinese buffet, and it is quick to get in and out. They also have good carryout. If you like Chinese, you'll love this place!
