Radio Shack

I've always wonder how Radioshack survives. They have some selection of consumer electronics, some computer equiptment, etc. But they just don't seem to have a lot of selection of any one categories. However, it is a good place for finding specific things like cable connector, converter, etc. One good thing about Radioshack, though, is that they have a lot of stores so it make it more convenient.

Radio Shack generally has higher prices than the big stores like Best Buy, etc, but they're also usually not as crowded and the people are a bit more knowledgeable about their products. Sometimes it's worth the extra cost unless you know exactly what you're looking for.
