Ya know, I've NEVER been a fan of Teriyaki. It's always had a burnt sugar flavor to me. And then, I found Happy At the Bay in Kent off of 180th! I love their chicken and gyoza. There's so much food that I get to save some for dinner

Best Teriyaki in town. The staff is always friendly, even when the place is packed. I recommend the Chicken Katsu, or Teriyaki Chicken. Portions are good and the salad is always fresh.

awesome food and friendly staff. everything that i've tried is high-quality and delicious -- especially the tofu yakisoba, beef short ribs, and of course the chicken teriyaki. i crave it at least once a week.

By far, my favorite teriyaki in Seattle. Large portions, and everything on the plate is always fresh. Menu-wise, the short ribs here are the best. Their sauces are the real selling point for me, though. The teriyaki sauce is a just the right amount of sweet, salty, and tangy with pretty much a perfect consistency; their white dressing goes well on everything and the chinese dishes are right on.

I worked in Seattle for a couple years subsisting off of teriyaki, so it's saying something that this is my favorite :).

I still visit about twice a year, and this is the one place stop in every time. Oh, Teriyaki, when will come to the East Coast....

I've tried just about everything on the menu at Happy at the Bay Teriyaki and all of it is amazing.

The service is friendly, the food comes out a lot quicker than any teriyaki restaurant, the facility is clean, and they have a TV playing the latest sports game or news channel so you're always updated.

Basically it's a great place to come for a short lunch break, an afternoon snack, or even dinner with the family. Their to-go service always has the food ready right when you walk in, if you're in a hurry.

The price is pretty reasonable, lunch menus run about $1.00 cheaper but either deal is great, and you can hardly tell the difference in portions between lunch-time and dinner-time.

The location is ideal for anyone who lives or works near Ikea or Great Wall Shopping Center, it's just across the street from both major shopping places.
