West side ingles is by far the best grocery store in town. It's clean. The aisles are wide enough to get around in, and they have more selection than any other store, even ethnic and health food sections. Who would expect a deli to have specific diet foods? It's a deli for goodness sakes.

I have seen Ingles that had better salad bars, though.

The morristown Ingles brags about being a very health minded store. Well., let mr tell you gow health minded they really are. I recently was diagnosed with diabetes. So one day i went to buy a good plate lunch dinner at their deli, but the only vegatable they serve that is not too sugary is green beans. They had no cabbage, no califlour, no spinach, no carrots. So i acked the manager and he said he would do something about it. I've check back for two months and he hasn't changed it at all. not so health minded!

Morristown, TN (E. Andrew Johnson Hwy.) >>Very expensive grocery store! They do double 50 cents or less coupons when you buy $10.00 worth of groceries but it isn't worth it because of their high prices. Managers can be extremely rude, the whole store employees are "gossipy" & I also caught wind that one of the Managers, Mike, is sexually involved with many of the young lady cashiers there. That's just nasty! Due to the excessive pricing & the poor atmosphere here I would not recommend shopping in this store.

I go to the Ingles in Woodstock, Ga. The employees are very friendly and helpful, and I always find what I am needing in stock. The meat is good and fresh, however sometimes the produce is not always the best. The interior of the store is a little outdated, but clean.

I think his dumb a** got sent to another store. Anyways, I always use coupons when I go grocery shopping because I have four kids and have to save all I can. It takes alot of time and I mean ALOT of time to find coupons, cut them out and match them up to sales. Anyways, I get in the grocery store and find all my items and go to check out and the Smart a** ex manager now named TRAVIS says , You can only use two coupons for two of the same items and I can't let you use more than two coupons for other same items, they will be regular priced. Keep in mind , I had my whole buggy full and had spent about two hours in the store with four kids and had matched up all my coupons with the items and already counted up my groceries. I couldn't believe what I was hearing so I just left the WHOLE entire buggy and all in the store at the register. When I went outside and got mad, I figured I would go back inside and find my buggy and have my kids go down the line with some each, ONly to find my buggy was already gone and hidden. It was NO WHERE to be found. Travis can kiss my a**.

There are Food City, Food Lion and Ingles in Morristown. I have traded at them all. I prefer Ingles. The employees have always been helpful and I prefer the Laura Lynn products to other grocery generics.
If you write a very negative review as I have seen here, then I think it is valueless if you are afraid to put your name to it.

I don't usually write reviews, but I just have to say that I was having a very bad day and could not find a specific thing I needed in the Ingles Grocery Store. A very sweet young woman named Meagan helped me find the item and when it was time for me to check out, she even took my groceries out and put them in my car. Did I mention that it was raining outside? This young woman exemplifies Customer Service and I have already written a wonderful letter of acccomodation to the Main office about her "going that extra mile".
If you want A1 Customer Attention, Please Shop at Ingles West End! They have my business without question. Thanks Meagan!!!!
A loyal customer!

The manager is cocky as hell. There is an 18 or 19 year old girl working as a front end manager who always seems snotty and rude when approached and is constantly up the main managers ass.

I had to return an item and Megan(the front end manager) got smart with me and treated me like dirt. The meat was spoiled for heavens sake, and I had to drive all the way there to get my money back and plan a whole new meal for my family. Then this snotty ass crater faced girl has to give me trouble about it?

I have not shopped in that place in 2 weeks and I don't plan on going back!

The first time I shopped here, my kids got a cookie from the worker in the bakery. The bakers in most stores offer a free cookie to kids. (I was ordering my daughter's birthday cake that I needed in two weeks.) However, when we got to the register the cashier insisted that we pay for the cookies. The manager also did. When I called the corporate office, I was told that the cookies are free; and the store was wrong. On the same trip, I bought some steaks. When i got home and opened the meat, I got a very unpleasant surprise. Everywhere the steaks overlapped was green! I took the steaks back and had difficult time getting the correct refund, even with a receipt! The second time I shopped here, I wanted to buy the Laura Lynn NuTrish milk that was on sale. It was the first day of the sale, and the store was out. I asked if they could substitute the Mayfield for the Laura Lynn, and they said no. I asked for a raincheck, and they said no. I asked when they would have more in, and they said tomorrow. When I came back the next day, they were still out. They said the shipment wouldn't come in for two days. Also on this trip, the cashier spend more time flirting with the bag boy than ringing my order and I wanted to get my crying baby home. When I said something about it, she got rude with me and cussed at me and talked about me with the next customer in line.
The third time I shopped here, I went to pick up my daughter's birthday cake. She was with me and was so excited to see it. When we asked for it, the worker in the bakery couldn't find it. Then she checked the area where they store the pending orders, and there the order and the decorating kit were pinned to the cork board. When I asked if it could still be made, she said "I don't do cakes." and went back to what she was doing. I asked if anything at all could be done, and she got smart with me. When my husband asked the co-manager to fix the problem, he offered no solution. We ended up going to another grocery store chain and getting the cake we requested.
So out of three trips, we had three horrible experiences. The corporate office is sympathetic, but didn't do anything to fix any of the problems we had.
