The place puts signs $1.99 for shirt dry cleaning and $2.99 for pants dry cleaning. Don't trust this signs. This is my second time to use this place, but I got charged more than double as they advertised both times. This time, I claimed that I got overcharged. I was charged $6.50 each T-shirt. They said that my T-shirt required special care because of its special print on it. This should be BS because I got overcharged the last time too and it was plain T-shit then. Please be careful or don't go this place!

I recently went to Medallion Cleaners for an alteration of two dresses, one of which was to be worn for a wedding that weekend. I dropped off the dresses on Wednesday and was informed that I can pick them up the next day after 5:30 PM. Due to my schedule I wasn't able to pick up the dresses until that Saturday morning, a couple of hours before the wedding. When I approached the counter, I noticed my two dresses hanging on the counter, I pointed to them and the guy behind the desk said the weren't altered yet and that someone was supposed to call me to tell me the measurements were off. To my dismay, NO ONE ever called. So here I was with unaltered dresses. He had me put on the dresses and re-pinned and re-assured me that the dresses were to be finished within an hour.

I returned two hours later only to find out that the dress that I wanted to wear to the wedding was not hemmed at all but the other alterations were made. I quickly tried on the other dress and felt the fit was "right". The manager then charged me $79.95 for the alterations. Out of frustration with the cleaner, I hesitantly paid the bill and inquired for a breakdown of the cost. The manager fumbled with a calculator and tried to make sense of the bill but the tabulations were NOT matching. He then offered a 10% off but could not give me the correct amount for each item and what was done and said I can come in Monday so he can finish the alterations but decided to charge the whole price at that moment.

I eventually left frustrated and infuriated with this place. I felt uncomfortable all afternoon wearing my half altered dress. Well, to make matters even worse, I wanted to wear the other dress for an engagement today and to my disbelief, I found the safety pins still on the dress and it was UNALTERED. The reason why it felt as if it fit "right" when I was at the cleaners was the fact that the safety pins were still there and covered with the fabric.
