Reviews for Navis Pack & Ship

Ratings_icons Excellent Sales and Service

Loris H.

Melissa,

Thanks so much for your help and follow ups. We won't be shipping it and may try to do it ourselves with team work, costing us hopefully less than $100 (truck rental). The piano is from 1950, in not that great shape and worth only $300-400 so shipping for $800 isn't practical. So sorry it took me so long to reply - way too much going on around here. Nevertheless you are an excellent salesperson - keep up the good work.

Loris H.

Ratings_icons Prompt and Helpful Service

Donna H.

In November of 2008, I shipped two items of furniture to my daughter in San Francisco. They were not large enough for Suddath Moving Company to handle, so they referred us to Navis. We received prompt and helpful service from the Bonds at Navis, especially with assisting us to decide how many items to ship, and cheerfully and quickly running a number of different estimates for us. The furniture arrived in good condition, with good service on the receiving end as well.

Ratings_icons Overwhelming Generosity

Melissa R.

Dear Miss Jo Ann and Family,

Thank you for shipping my dads lion to me. After my family listened to the Chronicles of Narnia series, I could only think of the great lion, Aslan, when I saw my dads lion. I wanted the lion after my mom died, but couldnt figure out a way to get it to Idaho. When my dad died and we went back to the house again, he (Aslan) was still there, as though waiting for me to take him home.
When my brother told me of your generosity I was overwhelmed and extremely grateful. Now Aslan sits on my front porch as though he has always been there and seems to me like a father, guarding the doorway of his children.

Thank you so, so much!

Ratings_icons A Very Positive Experience

Elizabeth M.

Dear Melissa, We had a very positive experience and I'd be happy to share. However, I was the recipient, so you may wish to also hear from my mom, Donna Heffner, who shipped to me. She is cc:d on this email."We were on the receiving end of a relatively small shipment that was too big for UPS and too small for traditional residential movers.Navis fit the bill perfectly! They promptly provided several estimates for our shipment based on various scenarios we gave them, as we were unsure of how many items we wanted to have shipped. Our cross-country shipment arrived right on time (and quickly) and everything was well-packed and in excellent condition. We were very pleased with their service." Elizabeth M., San Francisco, CA

Ratings_icons Exceptional Service

I paddle a type of sea kayak that I consider to be the 'safest on the high seas'. (if interested: a SKUK 'Explorer' sea kayak)I was planning a paddling trip up the coast of Australia. At the time I was planning my trip, the sea kayak I use was not available in Australia. So I had to purchase the boat here (the US) & have it shipped to Aus. I looked into shipping it via airfreight and couldn't find any good info (and knew if I did - it would be very expensive, though faster). (The sea kayak is about 18' long and less than 2'x2' cross section.)So I could either paddle it there (just kidding, though people have paddled across the Atlantic, and from the California to Hawaii) or ship it on a slightly larger boat.I contacted goNavis, and inquired about shipping my oddly shaped - and delicate item. Jo Ann was quite helpful in arranging to have it shipped - safely (this was a major concern of mine - I had images in my mind of a forklift 'spearing' the kayak, or getting crushed by a container of new cars). She had a container 'custom' built for the kayak - to be quite secure. I went by the facility - and it satisfied my worries. After completing the 'paperwork', she gave me what I would need to clear it on the other end and gave me a website where I could track the ship - which I followed: when it arrived in Sydney a week early, I was able to call the receiver and arrange things to be handled - and be ready for me when I got there. (On a previous trip, several years earlier, I had a kayak shipped, but when I got to Sydney it took about 10 days to acquire the kayak due to complications with unpacking & customs)As I'm writing this, I'm still in the US, but fully expect to arrive in Sydney (in about a weeks time) to an unpacked kayak - cleared through customs, ready to start paddling north in the Tasman Sea (I would rather deal with the sharks at sea than the sharks on land, Jo Ann with goNavis helped clear the waters for me so I didn't get 'bit').- - -Andy
