Presentation School

We have been at The Presentation School for two years now and are extremely happy. We have attended public, private and parochial schools in four cities now due to job changes and have a solid basis for comparisons. Presentation has very small class sizes, truly tailored curriculums to make sure each student is challenged and, with a new Director in place, a terrific strategic plan for the future. At $7,000, the tutition is a bargain compared with the private schools in the area that charge $17-$20K. The new campus is unbelievable and we found the parents to be very welcoming of new families.

Terrible in every way possible. 7 thousand dollars a year for a sub par educational,athletic, and social experience. One of my most upsetting findings is the newsletters informing the parents of the progress of the students, most of what is presented to the parents is HIGHLY exaggerated aka b.s. Education: The Spanish teacher has yet to fully master the English language along with her students names. Athletic: One may be fooled by the new large gym but the students use it minimally with little access granted. P.E. is frequently cut when any un important abnormalities are presented in the schedule. Social: As the author I find we can't write a paragraph on social with out being far to offensive.

The Presentation School is a private school in Sonoma. It offers the best in everything that a child should be offered~ academically, socially, morally, physically.

Francine Maffei is the director of this school~ and is just a stellar educator. She has long been involved in schools, and was in fact the principal of the private school that I attended as a child!
She is one of the main reasons that I am now sending my son to The Presentation School.
Children here are truly cared for~ educated, guided, encouraged, and allowed to blossom!

I really cannot say enough to express how pleased I am with every aspect of this school!

There is exciting news~ The Presentation School will have it's own campus for our 2006-2007 school year! It is fabulous!

The school is currently using the Community Center and several rooms at the Trinity Church~ the set up works very well as it has been organized by the school staff~ but it will be so tremendous to have our own campus!

My son is in kindergarten~ and I am amazed at the work they are doing! He is reading, doing addition, estimating and graphs, learning about money, learning Spanish, doing circuit training, learning about classical artists (not just fingerpainting!), and studying music!

My son loves learning! Though he's a shy child~ he is really having fun in everything he does at school! His teacher is just fabulous and is really caring!

Again I can't say enough about this school~ if you are considering a private school for your child~ please call or visit! You will not be disappointed!
