Just began lessons here with my 18 month old and 4 year old. So far we are VERY PLEASED. Both instructors are great and the pool is super warm. Seems to be the perfect happy medium between the YMCA lessons (pools WAY too cold for little ones) and Murry Callan (way too much $ and 2-3 time a week commitment is too difficult when both parents work full time and you have more than one child). The prices are reasonable and you can attend lessons once a week or twice a week. I like that they give you a choice and don't force you to come at least twice a week.

I am a parent with a child in the Autism Spectrum and I want to express my appreciation to the owner and staff for all their generosity with our children. They donate so much time and effort for our children and have sponsored a wonderful fundraiser called Splash for Cash. I was lucky enough to attend this event and they were truly professional and courteous.I would HIGHLY recommend Aqua Pros to everyone-they are the best!

I went to a Splash for Cash event. We were there to raise funds for pool parties, surf camp, and Camp I Can. I had an odd experience. I had come to the Pool Party in the past and have never experienced what I did this time. People seemed a little bit uptight, and they had a policy of paying $5 if you wanted to get a Splash for Cash bag,, I wouldn't recommd them.

We have been taking parent/child classes here for a year. Our teacher is nice, and the class is a lot of fun. We have a playgroup rate, so the classes are unbelievably cheap. On the down side, the front desk staff is unhelpful and clueless. They also have some very strange policies regarding attendance for the playgroups. Still, you can't beat the price or the parent/child bonding time that you get to have in class!

Great teacher and good service one month. The following month the teacher was unprofessional and actually belittled my child. The front desk also needs an attitude adjustment. Like I said, we had a wonderful teacher one month, and now the new teacher is rude to us (the parents) and my child, actually yelling at her to get out of the pool, when she was already well on her way to doing that. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!!!

Aquapros is incredible for babies! We started when my son was 4 months old and he is 17 months now. The prices are incredibly reasonable and the lessons in water safety are so important! He has learned not to try to get into the pool alone. He can swim underwater and retrieve objects while holding his breath. He is starting to paddle his arms and already kicks very strong. He can almost climb out of the pool himself, and has learned how to move along the edge of the pool until he reaches a step that he can stand on. The teachers are all very good and patient, but we love Miss Megan the best! Miss Stephanie was great too, but she doesn't teach there anymore. Definitely take the opportunity to do some underwater photos with the babies. Ours came out spectacular!

Aqua Pros Swim School prides itself as the premier swim school in San Diego. If you are in the market for swim lessons, then do not look anywhere else, go to Aqua Swim School first, and consider all others second, if you do not find what you had in mind at Aqua Pros Swim School. They offer an introductory lesson absolutely free of charge, their confidence level is that high, and their instructors are that excellent, that they know once you try their free introductory lesson that you will come back for all your swim lesson needs. They offer swim lessons in a public pool environment, as well as swimming lessons in your own home pool. They teach swimming safety, pool safety, and respect for the water, in addition to just teaching swimming. The lessons are affordable, with a monthly fee less than some schools charge for one lesson. They have their own style, and they cater to your individual needs. If you have a special needs child, they are willing to work with you in just about any circumstance. They are phenomenal with autistic children, and special needs children in general. Water aerobics, infant and toddler swim lessons, and many other services are provided by Aqua Pros. They have some of the best infant and toddler instructions in the country, many of whom are certified with either the National Swim School Association and/or the World Aquatic Babies Congress. In addition, everyone on staff is Red Cross certified. If you have a pool in your home, indoors or out, or if your family owns a boat, takes frequent trips to a beach or public pool, or if you just want your child to respect the water and be water safe, you need to have your child take swim lessons at Aqua Pros. Living in a beach community like San Diego, I think every child should know how to swim, and a place like Aqua Pros makes that a reality for many people through affordable, high quality classes, and caring, loving, patient instructors who will customize their services to fit your needs.

PROS: Customized programs, home pool lessons for those who want them
CONS: None that I can think of
