This is deiniftely an offbeat museum, which has hundreds of medical abnormalities on display. They have everything from a wall of human skulls, the soap lady, and everything in between. Definitely worth checking out if you have never been and are looking for something new.

So good.

by Mark D. | insider Insider | Rank: 13,141

This is such a great museum. A collection of interesting medical artifacts and a showcase of ailments and illnesses and medical anomalies. I wish they would've explained some of the stuff better, but it was still a fun time.

Mutter

The Mutter Museum has got to be one of the weirdest museums that I've ever visited. There are lots of displays on various medical mishaps and anomalies. It is definately interesting and a good discussion starter if you're on a date. It is worth a visit I've you've never been there. It is located downtown, so parking may be a bit of a challenge though.

Highly bizarre...

by Jenny Z. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 10,338

This museum showcases offbeat medical abnormalities... the strangest is probably a woman who was buried with certain chemicals that turned her into soap! It's very morbid and strange, and often controversial, such as skeletons of midgets, giants, and deformed individuals. It even had the brain of a serial killer on display, for some odd reason or another. The only way to sum it up is: odd.
