One tip for Olympus clients ?? if your service is sub-par WALK OUT, talking with a manager after will do nothing to correct the issue.

Olympus Spa has been such a treasured escape for me since a friend introduced me about 5 years ago. At the end of a long week the calm baths, delicious food, healing rooms all give me just what I need.

I have had some of the services at the spa, and enjoyed most of them. I have had a couple fabulous massages, and some that were fine, not great. However, Thursday night I went after a physically and mentally exhausting 3 weeks of non-stop labor/work. I booked a massage and asked for depth, feet and hands mostly. When the therapist and I first went to the room and she asked, I again said ??deep, focusing on feet and hands- and some mid-back and neck would be great, but mostly feet and hands?. She never touched my feet. Not at all. I??d complain about the lack of value in her hand massage, but at least she touched them. (Then she lied to her manager and told her she started with me feet?.think I would have noticed). She spent 10 minutes doing fluffy rubs on my legs, I checked the clock. I asked her for some depth SEVEN times, and it truly felt like the hands of a 4 year old were working on me. I know I like deep work, but the fascia wasn??t even aware I was getting a massage, I promise. I could go on ?? but you get the idea. Her neck work was actually reasonable (nothing you??d go back for, but not a total waste) and thankfully she ended with that.

After, I went directly to the front to let them know I was really dissatisfied with the treatment. The manager??s response was ??Well I know my legs get tired when I work hard?? and tell me WHY the therapist may have spent so long on the ONE body part I didn??t even mention. She told me ??the foot massage is a specific treatment? which the person did not say when I called and asked specifically for feet and depth, nor did the person at the desk when I said the same thing, or the massage therapist. I told the manager how much of a challenge it is for me to spend $70 on a massage and how much my body needed it. She simply said she??d have to get ??both sides of the story? and get back to me. When she came back she told me the lie that the massage started with my feet, and basically told me what I should have needed from a massage, no regard for what I specifically asked for ?? multiple times. She also told me ?? get this ?? that ??at the end of the day they may be tired so you shouldn??t expect as good of a massage. You should come in the morning when they are not tired.? Are you KIDDING me? This is customer service? She did give me a pass for a free entry for $25 which is good for a couple more weeks of September.

I will go back. I may even try services again some time. However, if they even seem to be sub-par I am WALKING OUT right away, my only hopes of not losing the money or the hour.

I must say, the girl running the front desk was the friendliest and most conscientious I have ever experienced there. The food was delicious as always. The salon was clean and lovely, as always.

The Olympus Spa is a well-known and well-hidden secret right in Lynnwood!! This is a women's Korean day spa that offers all the normal spa services, but also has heated rooms and whirlpools where you can just unwind with girlfriends or alone. The cost is very reasonable, $35 for entry (without any extra services), and you can stay all day! They are even open until midnite on Friday and Saturdays...a must do for all women in the area. Perfect for relaxing after hard workouts if you are very active or an athlete.

There was just no better way for me to enjoy my Birthday. First you go to the front desk where with ID you go inside free, then they give you a robe, shower cap and towels to use. You are then free to enjoy multiple steam rooms, varied temperature tubes and heated rooms. luxury is the word that comes to my mind. They even provide
soap, lotions, shampoos and conditioner. No time limit. There was just no better way for me to enjoy this Birthday. Thank you

This Olympus Spa is the second and newest location. I had previously been to the Tacoma location, but this one is much newr and better. The old one is a little cheesy on the decor, but this one is more like a true spa experience. The jade mud and heat room is wonderful. It is truly relaxing and rejuventing to go here. And so much cheaper than most day spas. You will get hooked!

A former visitor to the Olympus Spa's Tacoma location, I was pleased to find that the new Lynnwood location resolved all my issues with the older space and exceeded my expectations.

The new facilities are spacious, extremely clean and bright. The modern look and feel makes it feel like a world-class spa, and the number of rooms and amenities available make the entry fee more than reasonable for complete relaxation.
