Great place for a great cup of coffee or tea. Nice bake goods too. Sunday mornings can be really busy, so I would try a different time. My kids love to sit in the "old yellow barn" (train station). Go and have a nice cup of joe.

Pannikin is a great place for coffee! They serve great healthy food too! It offers a relaxed atmosphere with a sunny deck and a "granola" vibe. Busy on weekends.

Cute place, rustic train depot converted to a coffee shop upstairs and an art gallery downstairs. All the coffees are good and try the tea for a change - also quite good! There are bagels, steamed egg dishes and other foods to go with your beverage, all excellent.

Pros: Mexican Mochas and the curry chicken salad. Oh, and the mint brownies are amazing as well. Also, a great place to come and buy eclectic gifts.

Cons: Just a little pricey.

I always order the Chai Tea Cake, because it's not too filling and tastes perfectly sweet! I wish I could make this cake so I wouldn't be so broke! Also, the mexican hot chocolate is the best hot drink I've ever tasted!

Having an open and adventurous mindset, I love to give new places a try no matter what reviews are in place. However, before giving my opinions, I want to convey that this review is purely on coffee, bakes goods, service and atmosphere.
The store was set in an inviting old multi-level home with outside sittings. The inside is filled with miscellanous artworks, antique coffeewares, and purposely mismatched furnitures. After a few minutes of watching the barista make several coffee drinks, I already had my first clue of the quality of coffee...let's say I was worried.
I went ahead and ordered a macchiato and a muffin. To my dissappointment, the barista pulls out 20oz milk pitcher and I knew any hope for a decent macchiato was gone. The shot was pulled too early and sat waiting for about a minute while the barista was steaming away mountains of flavorless bubbly foam. Although I knew what was to come, I try my drink anyway. Yuck! A thick cloud of foam and then bitter flat espresso.
However, on a brighter note, the muffin was good and freshly baked on premise. All in all, if you want a place to relax and people watch it's great. Service was good but there is no wifi here.

Pros: Good assortment of freshly baked goods; nice service

Cons: Coffee, particularly, espresso based drinks not good

I love this little old house turned bakery thing! They serve up some really good coffee and most importantly really good sweets! They also sell little trinkets and coffees, teas, etc. One area has been converted into an art gallery. You can also get sandwiches, salads, and some breakfast items here. But most importantly sit on the deck with your food/drinks and enjoy the weather and calmness of Leucadia.

The building itself is the old train station, which makes the atmosphere fun and unique. The coffee is wonderful, and they offer a Mexican hot cocoa which is terrific. Theres a gift shop to one side of the building with all sorts of goodies. Pannikin also offers a variety of pastries, breakfast items, and even have a lunch menu. Everything they sell is delicious, and very well priced. The staff here is wonderfully cheerful and its always a joy to stop by.
