Cantera at Coronado Ranch has scammed myself as well as MANY other renters in the Las Vegas, NV area. THEY DONT HAVE A BUSINESS LICENSE IN NEVADA!!!! Nevada Secratary of State, Clark County DBA dept, and the City of Las Vegas Business license DOES NOT HAVE RECORD of Cantera OR Picerne having a license to do business in nevada!!!! End of my 30 day notice was Mar31st (2012), Mar15th I called the office staff spoke to the manager Carrie Spray (btw is the MOST diffucult, repugnant hateful individual I have ever delt with!) to prorate my rent untill APR5th as I needed 5 more days to move out. Carrie CLAIMED she rented my unit and I HAD NO CHOICE and MUST move out by Mar31st because the new tenants were moving in easter weekend APR 7th and 8th. WHAT????I moved April 4th, Cantera put a 5 day notice to pay or quit (eviction) stating that I owed them $800 for April rent. I had the carpets cleaned ($200) looked same as I moved in, my unit was WITH OUT A DOUBT left in acceptable condition Carrie did not do a final walk through, said nothing when i gave her the keys and remote and DID NOT HAVE ME SIGN stating the condition of the apartment, the following week I called to find out when they would return over $1000 in credits and deposits and Carrie said, ""the tenants that were supposed to move in cancelled"" WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ME?? And how did these tenants ""CANCEL"" if she signed a lease??????? SHE DIDNT!!!!! OBVIOUSLY!!! Carrie then told me she sent me an invoice stating that I owe them $150!!! Carrie at Cantera made FALSE claims of REPLACING ENTIRE CARPET totaling over $809 (NO RECEIPTS PROVING CARPET WAS ACTUALLY REPLACED) NO PROOF CARPET WAS DAMAGED and $300 for UNDEFINED AMOUNT UNPAID!!! Carrie at Cantera DID NOT CONTACT ME OR TELL ME DISCEPANCY WITH CARPET WHEN I SAW HER!!!! THEY DONT NOTARIZE EVICTION OR NUICSANCE NOTICES!!! probably because THEY ARE NOT LICENSED TO DO BUSINESS IN NEVADA!!!! I am NOT GOING TO LET THEM GET AWAY WITH THESE CRIMES!!! So many people have been ripped off by Cantera and seeimingly did not pursure recourse, NOT THIS TIME!!!! If anyone has experienced these similar unfair unlawful treatments by the hand of Cantera at Coronado Ranch please contact me and tell me your story!!!!! THEY WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH THESE SCAMS!!!!
