Dr. Margolin practices the highest quality of medicine I've seen in the field. She has a progressive approach to practicing medicine, incorporating holistic options when possible. Great Doctor!

I wanted a third opinion regarding my Macaw. This just wasn't
finding someone to tell me what I wanted to hear. This was
about saving my bird and her wing. I got 2 opinions and wanted
to get a third. 2 other Vets, referred me to Dr. Margolin. I
did research on Dr. Margolin and found that she graduated from
UC Davis, which I understand is the number one veterinary
school in the country, in 1991 and became board-certified in
avian medicine and surgery in 2003, which the other 2 Vets
weren't. She has numerous publications in Bird Talk magazine
and several years educating the public on both radio and
television. She is a current member and past president (2005)
of the Santa Barbara Ventura Veterinary Medical Association, a
member of the Association of Avian Vets, the CA veterinary
Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical
Association. My visit was VERY informative, positive and
comforting and believe me, I was a basket case!!!. Dr.
Margolin is such a genuine person with a wonderful and gentle
ability to deal with people and their animals. She also has a
wonderful sense of humor. I would highly recommend her to
anyone, especially if you have an exotic pet, cats and dogs as
well. My Macaw was so comfortable there with her and her
staff, it amazed me. She also called to see how my Macaw Lucy
was doing after I brought her home. Looking at her training
and involvement in the animal world showed me she is truly in
it for the animals health and well being. She is a very
concerned, caring, genuine and honest Vet and person. I can't
say enough good things about Dr. Tiffany Margolin.
