I sent my wife in to have a part tested that Sears said was bad although I had tested it myself and checked out to be good, the guys down there tested it for her and told her it was good and helped her in the next step of testing our dryer to figure out what was wrong with it, they gave her such good advise she was able to exactly tell me what I needed to check next and go from there. It is always GREAT to find a shop that a lady can go into not knowing anything and not walk out feeling like she never should have been there, and I will continue to give them my business because of that. Thank you Standard!

My brief interaction with whomever worked the morning of 2-12-11 was unprofessional at best. They were unwilling to make sure that I had the correct part by matching, or cross referencing the part number. Went to another store and they matched it via part number. I'm glad that others have had positive experiences, but I will be spending my money elsewhere.

These guys get it. They are over the top when helping a do-it- yourself person. They have been so helpful in my heater AC/Electrical system, this is why I make the drive from Folsom to there Sacramento store. I just came back from there and didn't spend a dime and got a book worth of info on my thermastat system. Best part is they did not talk down to me like I had no business doing my own work. Every time I've been in there they have spent the time to explain and help and appeared to enjoy that they were helping. If you are having any type of appliance problem, electrical or plumbing I strongly urge you to not waste your time, do youself a favor and get help from what I think is the best in the business. My hats off to the owner, he has trained these people with dignity.

These guys are great! Professional, courteous, and knowledgeable are the three words I would use to describe them. I went in without really knowing if I could fix what was wrong with my dryer. Lee was very helpful in walking me through the process. It turns out it was only a little switch I needed which only cost me $25.

Mario purchased this store in 2008, he is very motivated and will go the extra mile to service your needs, I first met him when he worked for another supplier and was very disappointed when he left to another co. that i did not do biz with , am very happy to see that he's now the owner of Standard App.

This store's manager providing conflicting and inaccurate information regarding the receipt of a part and literally yelled at me when I called for status of receipt -- after five days past the date the part was promised to be provided. My husband -- upon his initial call for the status of the part on the day we were initially told it was to arrive -- was cut off and advised "Why are you even calling?" This store's manager is the most unprofessional I've ever experienced in my 45 years and this manager should get out of the business. My husband as a contractor had worked with the former Folsom store and the S Street store and no problems. The problem is with this store. If anyone has any comments on this store's manager similiar to the situation I've described, please provide to me.
