I certainly was not disappointed. The staff was very professional and friendly; I felt very comfortable there. The owner is the esthetician and she gave me a facial which was so relaxing that I nodded off. Her facial and scalp massage are incredible. The hour and a half massage was equally awesome. Would I recommend this spa? You bet. It is a special find, in my opinion, and I'll be back. I almost forgot, the friend who referred me received a 10% off coupon for her to use just for referring me! Facial peels, waxing, massages, body treatments, body wraps, makeup, faux eyelashes, and complete spa packages are offered at this unique little spa. Unlike some day spas that charge higher prices on weekends, the Alegra Skin Care and Day Spa offers a discount for massages on Saturdays and Sundays. What sets this particular Skin Care and Day Spa apart from all of the other day spas in town is their wonderful referral program. If you have lots of friends, you can earn 10% discounts every time they receive services from the spa, and you get the satisfaction of recommending a wonderful place to your friends, and a savings on a day of luxury for yourself. They also offer a large selection of Physicians Choice, Spa Revolutions, and PCA Clinical Skin Care Products and you wont find as good of a selection of products anywhere else. Their prices are competitive, their employees specialize in making you feel good, and they will help you make the right choices for yourself. But I'll make an exception here. This was a gift from my daughter and now I have another reason to love her. Great facial and I have been getting them for years. My search is over--this place is excellent. The owner knows what she is doing and you don't need to cringe as the products are introduced, feeling as if you will be pressured to buy them before you leave. Very relaxing, wonderfully lasting effects. I was disappointed when the skin care specialist I had been going to for years moved. I found Alegra Skin Care and Day Spa because I was looking for another esthetician who uses PCA Skin Care products. I was very pleased to find Alegra. The owner has done my facials and they have been wonderful! They were effective and my skin looks great! It was also a very relaxing and friendly environment. I also liked that products were availabe- but not pushed on me. I think the prices are reasonable, especially when you get such good care. I have alread sent a good friend to Alegra and she was also very pleased. I will continue to highly recommend Alegra Skin Care and Day Spa. They see so many people at this place I wouldn't expect to be remembered like on my second visit -- really! Now I'm friends with the staff and everybody knows me. Posted 05/03/08 at 7:35pm Cozy atmosphere, but average customer service and a bit overpriced for what you get I went here with a gift certificate, to get facials prior to my wedding last year. I felt it was overpriced, with prices comparable to higher end salons and I wasn't impressed with the customer service. I went twice within 2 weeks and my asthetician clearly didn't remember me at all and forgot I was using a gift certificate when I checked out.
