Before I start, the evening classes are pretty popular but lets remember how many people get off of work at 5 and work out rite after. All I'm saying is if there are a lot of people you know it must be working for them! Ive dropped 25lbs since I have been here and I know love to see new faces of people who are gonna feel great when they hit their goal like I did!

There is nothing better than getting what you pay for.

So I go in to City Boxing in PB, rite there on Garnet and Ingrham and I am automatically intimidated by the two guys fighting in the ring. I was hoping that I wasn't gonna be forced to do that. I talked to Travis, he gave me a tour of the place and assured me that I will never have to spar/fight unless I absolutely want to and am ready to. That made me feel so much better. Then he hooked me up with a discount since I am a Marine...oooorahhh!!!

Now I have been a member for about 6 months and love this place. I had been doing MCMAB but it does not compare to the workouts I get when I come to CB. I also started Jiu Jitzu this week and WOW I am sore as heck but love it. Baruch, the instructor teaches you what to do down to the pinky toe, which is great for me because I am a slow learner. I have yet to try the boxing classes but the Kickboxing is amazing, the instructor is a 2 time world champ and he really provides a butt kicking workout.

I went to a lot of the other MMA Gyms before I came to City Boxing, but I knew this was the right place, and you cant beat the price for what your getting.

Its just great to have a place that knows my name every time I come in and is actually giving me what I paid for. With this economy the only thing I wanted to invest in is myself and I would say I've had a 200% return in the past 6 months.

Hope to see you in class!!

Marco

I tried their downtown gym...everyone was nice, but classes were wayyy too big...no attention. I wanted to learn muay thai kickboxing and you could not because trainers only worked with a couple people in the class. I know I am new, but i would expect that to be reason to work with me!

If you want to be the next big boxer, this is not the place to start. The gym is very small and there is not enough room or equipment. But if you want a great workout this is the place to go with practically a private lesson every day.
