I ordered my wedding invtations here last month and was completely satisfied and thrilled with everthing. The owner was there every time I went, which I think speaks volumes. There are MANY invitations in all price ranges, and although I ordered from the Crane album another bride was also ordering while I was there and she ordered something completely different (and a lot cheaper, but to each his own!) I just wanted to post something pleasant, since usually you only hear about something if you had a bad experience. It was nice to business here and hopefully I'll be able to do birth announcements in a year or so!!! THANK YOU

Pros: HUGE Selection, friendly service!

Cons: none that I saw

I had a bad experience with Crettet's. First of all, the owner cares for her young children in her shop so the place carries a very distinct smell of dirty diapers. Amanda helped me to choose my invitations which I must say are beautiful. She also guided me through the wording and gave me her ""expert"" opinion on how the invitation should read. \r\nHowever, when they came in my middle name was mis-spelled and I was given plain envelopes when I paid for self-addressed. I believe that a professional would have caught such obvious mistakes before having me waste my time driving down there only to be disappointed. \r\nThe Mon. morning (following the Fri. evening that I visited her shop) I called to tell her that the wording was not grammatically correct. Instead of realizing her mistake in advising me to go with the wrong wording, she told me that thought I should leave it the way it was. She also told me that she had been in the business for 5 yrs and had never heard of changing it to what I believed it should read. Plus, (she said) she had tons of books that were all worded the same way as mine. RIGHT. Can we say liar? I found plenty of examples on the internet of invitations worded the way I demanded mine be worded and two in the 1st first 10 pages of the first book I looked in at her shop today. I found zero worded her way.\r\nI went to pick up my invitations today only to find that I had a balance of $60. For her mistake? Her argument is that I approved the invitation before she ordered it, but SHE WROTE IT for me. She was the EXPERT. I have never been married and have never ordered wedding invitations before this. How should I know to second guess someone's opinion who should definitely be experienced in the field they're working in, much less the owner of the business?\r\n\r\nAmanda needs to practice her customer service skills as well as return to grammar school before she advises any more unsuspecting brides, etc.
