We love Dr. Marisa Giardina. We have been taking our male Vizsla to her for the past 4+ years since we moved to North Carolina. She and the other doctors and staff love animals and fuss over them. I have had vets in the past that acted like they didn't like animals, but not CRAH.

We adopted a second male Vizsla in August who was having severe separation anxiety and Dr. Giardina evaluated him and made recommendations that have really helped him become a happy member of the family.

Highly recommend Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital and especially Dr. Giardina.

I've been looking for a vet I could have complete confidence in since our family moved to this area ten years ago. Haven't been truly happy with any until we began bringing our older dog to Cornwallis a few months ago. I'm very pleased with the advice we've received and treatment he's gotten.

The vets and staff at Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital are rude. They will injure your pets and then charge you big $$$.
They broke my girl-friends cats' leg, then blamed her for the injury!
DO NOT EVER LEAVE YOUR PETS THERE!
The kennel next door is owned by the vets at Cornwallis Rd Vet! Profit, profit, profit!
NEVER TAKE ANY ANIMAL THERE!
PLEASE!!!! Protect your pets! DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!
Go somewhere else!
WARNING! Pet abuse!

The first time we visited Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital, I had just adopted a cat from the shelter and wanted to establish a relationship with a vet to check her out and make sure she was in good health. The staff and vet treated our cat Bodie with such kindness that we decided also to use their on-site boarding facility for our vacation knowing she'd be well taken care of (which she was).

Last year we had a real scare with our second cat and thought she was close to death. I think we saw every (vet at the hospital at some point during the course of her care). Dr. Swenberg, who led her care, was very patient with us and understanding that veterinary care for animals with mysterious illnesses can be very costly. (She seemed to have some sort of infection with an unknown source.) While we decided to take a "wait-and-see" approach with our cat, we were always provided with numerous courses of action we could take for her care. After several weeks and some steroid treatment our cat was back to her usual behavior.

I am grateful when the vet was willing to admit he didn't fully understand what was wrong with our house cat, but could suggest some strategies based on similar cases. The honesty and compassion we were treated with will guarantee that our cats will continue to receive their care there in the future.

I was very particular with who I took my dog to and was thrilled to find Cornwallis Animal Hospital. My dog was only 7 years old but had chronic kidney failure. We had to board her for a week and they took such great care of her and called with updates. She ended up passing away and C.A.H sent us flowers. They are really special veterinarians and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital has doctors that really care about your pets. The staff is super friendly. Everyone here seems like they have a passion for what they do. They instantly fall in love with your animal.
