UPDATE:Sears called this afternoon and offered to make things right in anyway possible. They also apologized for not upholding their return policy and said that they would be discussing that with their employees as it is a 90 day return policy, satisfaction guaranteed, with receipt. I was impressed that they got back with me at all, let alone a week after my original problem. I will try shopping Sears again as they have tried to correct their mistake.

Sears gas cgaSears has been around for a very long time and this particular store has been in this location since I was a child.They are still as reliable as I remember when my parents shopped here. I recently purchaced a washer and dryer at sears. The sales people were great and we had it delivered pretty fast. I would not recomment their warranty service unless it's sears itself that will come to fix your appliance. I found out that the sub contract their repairs which may not have the same values as sears.

Sears is huge, three floors full of stuff. From tools to home decor to clothing... They have a lot of good sales, too. Sometimes the store is messy and sales people need an attitude adjustment... But the products are good.

PROS: Good stuff, reasonably priced
CONS: Sales people

I like sears but don't ever loose a receipt they won't even exchange the exact item without a receipt. Customer service is ok sometime a little rude. There are better retail stores to shop at.
